Question

Can I filter by a field not being empty vs a specific value?

I’m creating a deal board for more complex deals that require executive sponsorship. The way this is indicated is by whether or not a rep fills out an open-text field “Additional Support Needed by ELT” explaining what they specifically need help on/what makes it a complex deal (Example: Prospect sent us an NDA that potentially exposes us to x,y,z--need legal team review).

Because each of these values will be unique, is there any value I can put in the filter that is essentially Additional Support Required Not empty/is known/Not Blank

Hi @multiplex123, cool use case! I just pinged our team about this one. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience!

Hi again @multiplex123 — do you mind sharing where that open text field is stored? Is it in Salesforce?

It’s in Hubspot on Deal Records

@multiplex123 Apologies for the long silence! Was double checking with our team — currently, this isn’t possible in Gong, but as a workaround, you can create another filter on the opportunity called “Additional support needed?” (Yes/No). That field would be a simple yes/no picklist that you can filter by.

I hope this helps. You can also submit this as a feature request to our product team!
