On this premiere episode, Courtney shares her best tips and tricks for fellow Sales Enablement Managers who are rolling out and tracking the adoption of Gong at their organization. 

 

Here are just five of the countless nuggets of gold that Courtney shared during this interview: 

 

  1. Make a launch day checklist. Courtney’s checklist consisted of calendar blocks, email drafts, Slack drafts, screenshots of the tasks that her Gong implementation partner had outlined for her, and lots of coffee.

  2. Train your teams early on to overcome potential challenges. For example, Courtney made sure that her team knew exactly what to do if their prospects owned the calendar invite. 

  3. Use previous Gong users at your organization to champion your rollout. Ahead of your launch, find out if there are any previous Gong users at your organization to get the rest of your team on board. 

  4. Enable your leadership teams. Offer to put five minutes on your leader's calendar to offer one-on-one Gong demos. Everyone has five minutes, no matter how busy their calendars are. 

  5. Discovery, discovery, discovery. One of the first things Courtney does when she goes through her team’s calls is hit “Points of interest” and then “Asked by Mirakl. This is how she tracks the adoption of MEDDPICC amongst her teams. If you can nail those early-stage calls, it sets you up for success later in your deals.
