Recording Hybrid meetings

Our sales team sometimes conducted demos in prospects office. In these circumstances the sales person is present in the office and use a computer to run a demo of the software along with a remote product expert.We’ve not yet discovered a way to successfully use Gong for these meetings. If we run Gong on the computer, Gong doesn’t recognize that the two people in the office are a sales person and a prospect. And if we use the Gong Mobile App to record, it doesn’t work well with the person dialing in on the computer. It is a similar issue to delivering an online meeting where the prospect has multiple people in a conference room.Has anyone else experienced this challenge and how are you addressing it?

Analyzing call trends at scale

Has anyone found a way using Gong to analyze trends across sales calls at scale? I’ve used trackers to identify calls that match specific criteria (ex: competitors, discovery questions, etc) but I haven’t found a way for Gong to identify things like: most common objections faced during the sales process, top pain points we’re hearing from our ICP or how effective is our team at executing our sales methodology without significant manual effort digging into individual calls.  Does this type of functionality exist in Gong?

Scorecard - Best practices for using AI powered answers

Does Gong have any best practices when utilizing the AI powered answers for Scorecard questions? We would like to help scorers by giving them some tips/tricks on how to incorporate the AI powered answers into their decision making, without having the AI powered answer being the only answer. If there are documents/ snippets from scorecard discussions I would love to review. Thanks!

Auto-email me or my customer the Gong recording after every call?

Can I set up my Gong account to auto-email the Gong recording after every call? I see you can something about “pre-set” for a specific customer...but I want to automate it. Or at the very least email me the recording.

salesforce integration - custom fields

In gong you can ask anything relating to a call. And it seems to work pretty well.  In salesforce we have a number of fields in our opportunity relating to customer goals, pains, risks etc.  it would be good if we could map a field from salesforce, phrase it as a question for gong ai and then automatically populate the field in salesforce.

Opportunity Roles

Hello! We have a primary contact on all opportunities in SFDC because we are required to create opportunities from a contact… however, we have turned off requirements for reps to enter any other contact roles on opportunities for a number of reasons.  We can look at things like Gong call participants to see who else is involved, but marketing (Marketo) would also like to act on this data and Marketo can really only use contact roles on the opportunity to see who is involved.  Any way to populate contacts with roles (Contact Roles) on an opportunity based on call participation data?  Example- 4 contacts from Beta Corp join a call tied to Opportunity X… could we have all 4 added to Opportunity X as contacts with the generic role like “influencer”?  This would be supremely cool and helpful for our marketing org to nurture and measure influence...

Will Gong record future meetings?

Hello All, we have a user that scheduled invites/meetings via Outlook (future dates), we just realized their gong professional and web conference recording weren’t enabled. We just enabled them. Will those future meetings be recorded now? Or do they need to do something to make sure they do get recorded? Couldn’t find a clear answer about this specific issue.

"POST- Retrieve detailed call data" Limitation

Hey, apologies if this is mentioned before but couldn’t find.When I hit POST - Retrieve detailed call data API, it only pulls certain amount of (89) calls’ data although I haven’t specified and date, call_id etc. limitation. Viewing Playbooks in Account Overview Screen

We’ve recently started using a customised version of the Gong playbook. It works really well on dealboards and under Points of Interest for individual calls.Where it can’t be seen as far as I can tell is the Account Overview screen. Reps would like to have an easy view of it when reviewing their accounts.Does anyone have any ways around this, or do you think this would be a useful feature development?

Anyone used Gong for Voice of the Customer Analysis?

Interested to hear anyones experience or insights in leveraging Gong to complete Voice of the Customer analysis. We have a client that wants to better understand the following: How a new product release is resonating with their install base?  What are the key reasons they want to talk about the new product? What objections to they voice with moving forward with adoption?  How is the pricing received by customer segment?Thanks for your input!

Global Conversation topic summary

Hi Community! One of my favorite things about Gong is the ability to search conversations across my business to learn more about how various teams describe our own products, features, and services, especially when there's a gap in my knowledge base or our own documentation and I'm trying to explain something to a customer. Within a particular conversation, I can use the ask anything feature to summarize or define a particular topic. I'm curious if there will be an ability to use the ask anything feature across all calls using the same filters available for the search as it exists today?

Smart Trackers for Speaking improvement

I wonder if I can use a Smart Tracker to find representatives who say “Ehhhh”, “ummmm” “So” etc. I built a Smart Tracker and added a lot of phrases, the problem is that the engine demands the examples to have at least 3 words in each example, which prevents me from adding the basic “ehhhhh / ummmm” and such. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Retrieve call transcript using python

Hi! I'm new to Gong and I'm trying to use python and the API to retrieve our available data.I managed to get basic information on the calls iterating through https://api.gong.io/v2/calls, using the request package. Now I want to get all of the call's transcripts and details and I can't seem to manage.This is what I've tried:url = 'https://api.gong.io/v2/calls/transcript?callIds=<CALL_ID>'requests.get(url, auth=(<ACCESS_KEY>, <GONG_SECRET_KEY>)).json()this throws this error:{'requestId': <REQUEST_ID>, 'errors': ['Bad request']}Could you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?Thank you!

Transcript Summary/Notes summary

Seems like there are some great AI solutions out there that are able to summarize quite a bit of content.  I really like the transcripts in Gong, but often times wish I had a summary of the transcript of the call or a highlight of important notes.  Does Gong have something like this already or is there anything in development?

Screen Sharing Gong Recordings in Teams

Hello, I tried screen-sharing a Gong meeting recording with a counterpart in a Microsoft Teams environment, and the sound was not coming through on her end.  We tried some audio troubleshooting within Teams, but to no avail.  Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, what was the solution to correct it?  Thanks much! --Ryan Austin

Multiple currency issue with Gong Forecast

Hoping the hive mind can help me since I’m not getting a lot of response from Gong Support! We are having an issue with deal boards/forecasts converting deal amounts incorrectly. We have multiple currencies turned on, and the personal currency of the integration user matches our corporate currency. Yes the conversions are wrong. This is an urgent issue so please let me know know if you’ve run into the same problem and come up with a solution. Thanks.

Gong Notetaker started to join our Zoom calls

Greetings, I have noticed that "Notetaker" has recently begun joining our Zoom calls. This issue arose after we had to disconnect and reconnect Zoom to Gong today. Prior to this, our Zoom call transcripts and other functionalities were operating smoothly. Could you please provide any insights or solutions to address this matter?

How does Gong determine whether or not the contact has “Power” I only see user created fields inside of HubSpot and no way to point them to that field.

Need to download recordings more than 100

Hi Team,I have been asked to  download the actual Transcripts records as well as the audio and video Recordings created between a date range.The documentation https://gong.app.gong.io/settings/api/documentation#post-/v2/calls/transcript gives us info on how to retrieve transcripts and recordings, but to download each recording we will have to click the url one by one ,we have 500+ recordings and its really difficult to download the recordings this way, can you please tell if there is a automated way to download all call recordings within a date range.

Downloading Transcript Data from Trackers

I am not sure if this is an available feature and I am just missing it, but is there a way to download transcripts from calls that only feature specific types of data? For instance, I am trying to download transcript data from calls where a specific competitor was mentioned. Is that something that can be done through a Tracker, Stream, etc.? Thank you in advance!
