Google Drive Error During Upload

I wanted to try uploading recordings via Google drive, but when authorizing, I noticed a checkbox allowing access right before hitting connect. I left it unchecked by mistake, and now I get an error when attempting to access Google drive through Gong. Is there some way to reset the authorization, so I can probably give access, or am I cooked for all eternity?

HubSpot Calling / Telephony - Caller Role Reversal Issue

Hey all, Wondering if anyone else is utilizing HubSpot Calling and is running into the following issue and may have found a solution? In HubSpot Calling, the call initiator is always Speaker 1 (Stereo Left), so depending on outbound/inbound it is our company employee, or a prospect/customer respectively. The Gong telephony integration setting needs to be set for the company employee to be either Stereo Left or Right. In our case we currently have it set to Stereo Left, and thus on all inbound calls, the roles on the transcripts are reversed, i.e. the transcript says our employee is speaking, but it’s actually the customer. This messes up all the call statistics of talk ratio, patience, etc. as well as trackers that are set to only track mentions by prospects. No solution currently seems to exists from Gong or HubSpot support.

Notifications for Scorecards

Hi all! We’ve recently just set up scorecards for our teams. It would appear though that when a scorecard is completed, notifications are sent to a number of people. I can’t find anywhere to configure this so it just goes to the team leader and the call owner, for instance?

Gong --> ChatGPT --> SFDC Integration

Just curious if anyone has done any of the integrations like this: Take the transcript from a Gong call; send it to ChatGPT to ask the GPT some standardized question(s); and then put the results of that into SFDC on the associated account. The use case is to do some analysis on a call beyond what Gong’s current AI can do and append the SFDC record with that analysis. I currently use Zapier which integrates to all three tools; but curious if anyone has any experience doing this.

Getting Gong activity in both Salesforce and Hubspot

We have Gong integrated with Salesforce (our CRM). We use Hubspot for automated marketing and is also integrated with Salesforce. I’d like to get Gong activity in Hubspot as well to help with ABM, but when Gong only supports integration with one CRM. Any ideas on how to get those Gong activities into Hubspot?

Gong Notes and Hubspot Integration

Hi all, I’ve activated the export to HubSpot where I should have meeting invites, conference calls and telephony system calls going to HubSpot. I’ve been looking for the “meetings” and “call” objects in HubSpot but couldn’t find it. Can anyone direct as to where to go to find this info? Thanks!

Exporting Questions Asked

One thing I’m coaching to right now is the TYPE of questions my reps are asking. I’m noticing that the reps that are underperforming centre their questions around (what i call) “Solutioning” the customers problems. The better reps are focus on business questions and questions about the evaluation process and criteria. I’ve manually exported all questions in a call to a spreadsheet so I could tag each question as Solutioning, Business, Pricing/Admin, Deal Process.Control, etc. But maybe there is any easier way to export every question?

Did the option to "Share Call" while it's analyzing disappear?

As of late last week there was an option to “Share Call” while it was still analyzing. This helped cut down on the time waiting for the call to be fully ready to share so we could get notes out to customers. It looks like, as of today, that option is no longer available? When did that change and why?

How to disable AI analysis of calls

AI is great and all, but I need to be able to record calls without an AI agent trying to interpret the call. Is there any way to disable ALL AI access to my call recordings?

API: Querying by "Account name" in the API call

HI all, PROBLEM: I don’t see an option to query using “Account name” in the API (the way we can filter on the Gong interface) BACKGROUND: I’m trying to return the transcripts during a specific period AND by specific account using the Gong API. However, I don’t see the option to query based on Account name in the API. I’m using a ‘hacky’ solution to get it but would love clarity on if it’s an option to use Account name. CURRENT WORKFLOW: I’m using both the /v2/calls/transcript and /v2/calls/extensive to return all the associated information and then parsing the email domain name as a proxy to indicate which account it is. i.e. if I’m looking for transcripts associated with Account name: XYZ, I will use both /transcript and /extensive calls and identify it based on if the “xyz.com” is in the email from the “parties” section of the response e.g. below: "parties": [ { "id": "xxxxxxx", "emailAddress": "jsmith@xyz.com", "name": "John Smith", "title": "Manager", "speakerId": "xxxxxx", "affili

Badging Tiered System for Gong Adoption

Hello! We just launched Gong and we are in month one at my company. We are working to build a leveling of adoption, kind of like badging to drive adoption. We are looking at using the metrics of calls recorded, spotlights viewed, and days logged in as the factors and then communicating that achieving these will get you a certain level of recognition in the first three months. Level 1 - Early Adopter- Go(ng) Getter x amount of spotlights viewed x calls recorded x days logged in Level 2- Core User - Gong Champion x amount of spotlights viewed x calls recorded x days logged in Level 3 Power User - Gong Guru x amount of spotlights viewed x calls recorded x days logged in Has anyone ran a program like this at launch before? Any learnings or tips from Gong on these metrics or levels?

Heat Chart?

Outreach had a feature that showed a heatmap of the best times to reach people. Does Gong offer something similar? I'm looking to find the most effective times to make calls.

What are objectsCrmIds in CRM API

1) I am trying to use the Get CRM objects (/v2/crm/entities) API. What is objectCrmsIds? and how do i find them. I am uploading a Contact CRM. “objectId” here is “objectCrmsIds” ?? After uploading Contact/Account CRM. where can i view these details in Gong UI? I assume “objectId” is record id. why GONG internally doesn’t assign a unique objectID? why should a user provide a unique id(ObjectId) when uploading data via CRM API?

How many records can we upload to CRM Objects API

I am using Upload CRM objects (/v2/crm/entities) to Upload Accounts & Contacts data. For that i need to create a LDJSON file.1) Need help in creating this LDJSON file. what should the extension of this file be? ndjson??. If possible can i get an example of how LDJSON looks 2) In Accounts & Contact entities, “objectId” & “modifiedDate” are mandatory fields. Users must create the objectid? how does gong identify whether a record is being updated or newly added. Also how to avoid users giving wrong “modifiedDate” 3)let's say i have 10000+ records to upload to “Contact”. can upload multiple dataFile of size 200MB each? or what is the approach you suggest?

Gong API in Python - Aggregate Cursor not Progressing

I have come across an issue where the cursor updates, but does not provide the second page of the report. Pagination cursor expires after 1 hours even for a new cursor

We are using a tool which has gong integration. This tool make recursive calls for getting call transcripts. Since this is a huge list and also some post processing has to be done on the transcripts.We noticed that even though we use the updated cursor from our previous response. The new cursor expires after 1 hour to the first request. if though the new cursor was just fetched from the response of the latest call.For example this is the response from one of the recursive call. {"requestId":"<request id>","errors":["cursor has expired"]} Does this mean we need to complete the whole operation within 1 hour?Expected behavior: cursor should expire after 1 hour since it was last fetched/generated.PS: we checked the logs and we are sending a new cursor into the next request which we got from the previous one.
