I’ve found the best method for getting stakeholder buy-in is the following 3-step process: 1 - Overcome common rep objections Share Gong’s value in initial communications including- call transcripts alleviate traditional note taking prep your next call from Gong’s record of prospect’s main questions Gong tracks every action item for complete follow-up Reps can listen to calls from top reps to learn what good sounds like 2 - Have executive leadership bridge the gap Work with an executive leader commit to the following 3 items in the first 30 days- record and share a Loom video about goals with Gong and how it can help reps and managers attend team meetings to voice support share proof (we’ve been lucky that leaders have used Gong in the past and shared those experiences) 3 - Author a living document with the A-team (tech admin, champions, FLM, exec) - We’ve called this document a Joint Success Plan (JSP) in the past. I’m doing our end of year metrics and have decided to focus on three areas moving into 2023: More than 4 engaged contacts before our technical eval sales stage, ensuring that we are addressing budget before this same stage, and ensuring we are discussing quantifiable metrics for a successful implementation.BUT…I want to raise enthusiasm. Has anyone done some kind of gamification, perhaps for 30 days, that really got people hyped up about their usage of Gong? Extra applause if it involves building out a “best of” library…. Thanks in advance…
At the last Women in Revenue meet up I talked about how my confidence faltered being the only woman on my team. You all really encouraged me and said you had similar experiences. After our meeting, I shared my feelings with my directors and they gave me so many resources. I felt so supported by the Women in Revenue group and then by my directors. I went on to close my first account, and even be the first guest on our company’s first-ever podcast. Cheers to killing imposter syndrome, and speaking up! THANK YOU ALL!
Hi Everyone, I recently launched Gong at my organization and have been pleasantly surprised at how warmly it has been welcomed by the team.Needless to say, I’m doing everything I can to keep them engaged and using Gong for all of its many benefits. Some reps have been asking for best practices for using the Salesloft integration with Gong. Does anyone have (or is anyone themselves) a superstar user of Gong with Salesloft? I’d love to connect to be able to encourage the team to continue having a seamless experience. Thank you!!
hello! my CSM enablement manager is looking to offer 2 KPIs for her pilot group of customer success managers. anyone have ones that they thought were super effective?!
Hi community! Wondering if anyone out there has implemented MEDDIC-specific scorecards at their organization and would be willing to share a couple of examples I could use as a starting point? Thanks in advance!
Is it possible to have one manager be a leader for two different teams? I want to see their statistics separately on the call interaction stats. I have one manager managing SDRs and AEs and need to report on them separately.
We have had Gong for several years, but it has been underused. I am hoping that with our relaunch as well as the Gong certification, I can help our organization get the most out of Gong. I am looking to learn more about ways to increase efficiency and help front line managers be effective coaches.
