Hi :)

How can I changed the name of the bot? and can I make a number of name options and define which one to use by rules?

Thanks!

Hi there! You can change the name of the recording bot by going into Recording Settings. Linked here is an article that walks you through it. One thing to note is that this is a global setting, meaning you can only have one recorder name.

Hope that’s helpful!

Hi Devon,

The article just shows how to pick a name that already defined (The company name and another word or 2), How can I change the name to somthing else like my full name and ect. ?

Thanks

Hi @LiavA

The bot name options are standardized so that when the Gong recorder joins the meeting, it has a name that denotes it's recording the call. The reason we’ve set it up this way is to help the video conferencing providers (like Zoom) know that this participant is recording the stream, for compliance reasons.

Best,

Devon
