Hi! I just set up automatic scoring for our CSM team in Gong. We currently have automatic scoring set up for any call that a CSM “hosted” or “attended”, however, Gong is automatically scoring the host on any meetings a CSM attended. Is there a way that I can assign Gong AI to score the CSM participant rather than it auto-scoring the host?
I would like to watch a recording and see the reaction of participants who might not be speaking. Gong recordings only provide the speaker view from what I can tell... Is there a way to see the participant grid/gallery view while watching a recording? I found this question a few years back, with a reply stating that it has been “submitted as a feature request to our Product team for consideration”...but looking for an update as I imagine many people are asking for this. Nonverbal reactions are vital clues, and not accessible in this format currently.
We are using the calls API to get the Gong calls for our customers, but that endpoint returns results from the earliest recorded calls to the latest. Meaning we have to paginate all the way to the end, which can be a lot, to get to the latest calls. Is there any for that endpoint to give us the data in the reverse order? with the latest calls coming first. Thanks!
Thank you to everyone who joined today's AI Builder Meetup! 30+ Visioneers. Three brave volunteers to kick us off. A chat full of real prompts and use cases. And we got to do it all on the same day Gong launched Mission Big Dipper. Perfect timing! As promised, I documented everything so you do not have to dig through your notes. Here it is, all in one place.Huge thanks to our three kickoff volunteers: Jaime Council at Sharecare, Justin Manni at Averhealth, and Sydney Tress at Wolters Kluwer, our recent Gong AI Agents contest winner! And a special shout out to Itai Sagi and Katie Geoffroy, who both dropped full prompts into the chat. Those are published below exactly as they shared them.Everything is organized into three buckets:AI Builder Workflows — what people built in AI Builder Enablement Ideas — driving adoption, coaching, and ramp with Gong Prompts and Other Workflows — copy and paste ready prompts plus everything elseBUCKET 1: AI BUILDER WORKFLOWSWorkflows people built directly i
HiCan a prompt be created in an email to check the value of a salesforce field and based on the fields value to then include a specific block? For example a prompt would read - if a specific Salesforce field value is “A” - then Gongs Block named “A” is included in the email.
When I resume a contact in a flow, it allows me to mark them as resumed initially, but, at the same time, removes them from that flow. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any idea on how to resolve it? The same time stamp is in the contact’s history as “resumed” and then “removed.” I have not heard back from Gong support yet and need to keep these contacts in my flows.
Hi there! We are loving the enable + AI trainer and rolled out a huge certification wth 5 parts + submitting calls to a library for scoring. Our director of platforms is having to use a lot of manual processes to build a spreadsheet dashboard for leaders to see a consolidated view. Does anyone have good tips or workarounds for dashboarding INSIDE of Gong? THANK YOU!
Hi Gong team,I've set up a Call brief in Agent Studio (AI Briefer) and it works great in the UI. I'd like to be able to retrieve the brief output programmatically via API.I noticed the existing GET /v2/entities/get-brief endpoint is built specifically for CRM entities (Account, Deal, Contact, Lead), so it doesn't cover Call briefs. Is there a plan to add a dedicated API endpoint for retrieving Call brief results?I found a community post from ~5 months ago where a Gong support rep mentioned the relevant endpoints are "currently in alpha" — is that still the case, and is there an ETA for public availability?Thank you!
What have you found to be the top 3 use cases for sales leaders to help their team drive new business production in Gong?
We are setting up our Forecast and we have one manager who oversees SMB and MM we’d like for these to be separate for multiple reasons as of now they are all under that managers team. Is there a way to create teams without having it roll up to a manager or another work around? Thank you for your help in advance!
Hey team ! When setting up my automation, i would likeIsolate calls that turn a prospect into a customer (done) Automatically trigger an ai briefer to screen the entire account and catch a brief type send this brief type result via a webhook. How can i do that please?
Hi, General question - In a couple of Months my company will be moving off of Clari for Forecast/Pipeline and onto GONG. I was wondering if any others have done the same and what was the biggest questions or hurdles the Sales Reps had when making the move or best advice you can give Rev Ops Admin on what to look out for.
I would like to use Gong to send some campaigns to my contacts. In the emails I am sending, I would like to add a variable CC, BCC or even from options, so that the email template picks up the variable dynamically rather than having this fixed. For eg, I would like for the email to CC the Owner of the account, or use any of the fields coming from the CRM (Eg, the CSM). Is there a way to add this?I have seen this easily tackled in other products, but Gong seems to only support fixed values rather than dynamic ones. For the To, I would like to be able to trigger emails on behalf of my team, but there is no way that I can update where an email is coming from. There seems to be little use for email campaigns given the few configuration options we have.
Hi everyone,Are there any SugarCRM users out there? There is no native integration between Gong and Sugar, and I am looking for a way to log calls to contacts, accounts, and opps in SugarCRM.Zapier looks to have some connectors, but I have not been able to configure things.Any help is appreciated!
It seems like Gong only maps activities to accounts based on the direct account-contact relationship. If an contact is indirectly related to multiple accounts, I’d like the activities to show up across multiple accounts. Wondering if this is possible?
All of our Microsoft Teams Call Queues are in conference mode. This has many benefits most notably faster call pickup. When we signed up for Gong, we knew this wasn’t supported by the Numonix recording bot and created a work around using the upload api.Since then, Microsoft has released compliance recording and Numonix has updated their recording bot to fully support the ability to record Teams Call Queues in conference mode. I have created the compliance recording policy in Teams and assigned to a test queue. The recording policy activates and I can actually see the call in Gong while it is ongoing. However, once the call completes the recording disappears.I am not sure why the call is being discarded when it completes. Since Queue recording requires its own recording policy, are there different permissions in Gong for Queue calls? I can’t find anything in the Gong documentation that relates to Queue calls. I know a year ago, the documentation said that conference mode had to be turne
Quick Note:Thank you to everyone who joined today's AI Agent Best Practice Meetup. I will be honest, I had no slides, no seed content, and no idea how many people would show up. You showed up anyway and you brought the goods.27 Visioneers. 10 real workflows. 45 minutes of the most practical AI conversation I have hosted in five years at Gong. Here is what we covered:Using Gong AI Agents natively: @Jamie Wolfson shared how his team at Coherent uses AI Builder to generate business cases from months of call recordings in 30 minutes -- and saw a measurable lift in deal wins as a result. @Andrea Ihara shared three workflows she runs every week: a deal close query, a weekly Forecast Edge digest for sales leaders, and an outbound script generator built from closed-won data. @Itai Sagi at Palo Alto Networks is using AI Builder to find product gaps across all accounts and monetize them with pipeline impact. @Sydney Tress built a system that surfaces customer story leads automatically using
Is it possible to export comments from a call that have specific hashtags? Even better, is it possible to set up some type of automation to export those comments? For example, as I review a call I might makes comments that start with a hashtag with a name like #currentstate or #usecase. After I finish reviewing the call, I’d like to export those comments out to a file or into another system.
Is anyone able to link activities (calls, emails, meetings booked) to campaigns -vs- accounts/ opportunities/ contacts in Salesforce? Our events team is hoping to tag flows/ outbound efforts back to show activity metrics and outcomes. I know we can manually change the related field in SF, but hoping for a config/ automated option. Thanks!
Hello!I want to follow up with a prospect from my previous email, but I’d like to update the subject line. They are not in a gong flow.I’ve tried both replying to and forwarding my last email but in both instances, I can’t seem to edit the subject line.Is there a way to do this, or am I better to use Outlook to do this?
What is the BEST thing you have done with Gong?
Hi there,Is there a way to personalize our Gong dialer voicemail greeting? It’s a very generic, robotic message that could lead the prospect to think they have dialled the wrong number.
Following up on the Snowflake/MCP discussion that I posed in Integrations, I put together an open-source starting point for teams that want to connect approved Gong data to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or other MCP-compatible tools.gongctl is an unofficial, local-first Gong API CLI plus a read-only MCP server. It syncs approved Gong data into your own SQLite or Postgres cache, then exposes a controlled MCP surface that an assistant can query without receiving Gong API credentials, raw exports, writable database access, or full transcript dumps. The goal is not to replace Gong AI, Smart Trackers, scorecards, or Gong-native workflows. I see it as a launch point for focused point solutions that can enhance current Gong offerings: objection discovery, tracker or scorecard candidate analysis, coverage checks, campaign or enablement research, and other evidence-backed workflows that can eventually be operationalized back in Gong.I am looking for feedback from teams using Gong h
Hi all, first day using Gong. I’m an SDR using Engage.I want to dial prospects on Fridays, regardless of their step in a flow.Is there any way to create ancillary call tasks in bulk, for prospects that are already in a flow?I thought of a workaround with a ruleset to make a non-exclusive dials-only flow I could enroll them in concurrently. But it’s too late, the original flow is set anyway, and I seem to lack the authority to create rulesets.Do I really have to go into each prospect record individually, just to create these tasks? Or should I just save time zone delineation by state in a contact view, and hammer down the column to dial them?It would be so much better to just be able to bulk-create tasks and THEN sort by TZ.
Are you using Gong Data Cloud with Snowflake?I’m exploring an MCP layer on top of Gong data, and I’m trying to additional real-world use cases.I’m not trying to replace Gong’s AI features. Gong Assistant, AI Briefer, Smart Trackers, scorecards, and related native workflows already cover a lot of in-product use cases. For example, a warehouse/MCP layer could help teams identify which topics, objections, call patterns, account segments, or risk signals are worth turning into Smart Trackers, briefs, scorecards, or other structured Gong workflows. That feels useful because teams may need to be selective about what they configure, monitor, and operationalize inside Gong.A few questions:What Gong data do you actually query in Snowflake? What do you join it with? What questions are hard to answer in Gong itself but easier in the warehouse? Have you used warehouse analysis to decide what to configure back inside Gong? If an MCP interface existed on top of that data, what would you want it to e
