INTEGRATIONS

Just curious if anyone has done any of the integrations like this: Take the transcript from a Gong call; send it to ChatGPT to ask the GPT some standardized question(s); and then put the results of that into SFDC on the associated account.   The use case is to do some analysis on a call beyond what Gong’s current AI can do and append the SFDC record with that analysis.  I currently use Zapier which integrates to all three tools; but curious if anyone has any experience doing this.  

Hello Community members, Wanted to seek some advice on how to manage the score card updates in Opportunity. We are running short of fields in opportunity object in SFDC. As part of our scorecards updates from Gong to Salesforce we need 50-60 fields created in Salesforce. However we are not in the luxury of creating so many fields. Was wondering how others are handing this situation Is there a way to push them to Gong Related Opportunity fields ?  or any other innovative Solution  Advice here is appreciated.   

Many of the AE’s in my org use Salesforce To-do’s as reminders for actions on opportunities, accounts, contacts etc.  For example a rep may create a To-do as a reminder to checkin with a customer on a specific date. That checkin occurs by phone and is recorded by Gong. Gong then creates an activity in Salesforce representing the call. I now have duplicate activities for the same follow up. I thought to create a flow in Salesforce to delete the manually created To-do but I’m not sure how to associate the two activity records so the system can identify duplicates. Has anyone solved the issue or have recommendations? I appreciate any suggestions! :)  

After publishing on the Gong collective, the oauth app configuration is readonly. I want to update scopes and add a redirect URL. How can I do this? Thanks!

In Salesforce if a Tracker is present on a Gong recording, a record is created on the Call/Conversation object in for each Tracker. For Keyword trackers, you are allowed to populate a field called Tracker Phrase that sends over the exact phrase that triggered the tracker.  I was wondering if there was an equivalent for Smart Trackers. I thought it’d be interesting to see that information in Salesforce, particularly on Opportunities where any of the Playbook (we use MEDDPICC) Smart Trackers are present.

We have Gong integrated with Salesforce (our CRM). We use Hubspot for automated marketing and is also integrated with Salesforce. I’d like to get Gong activity in Hubspot as well to help with ABM, but when Gong only supports integration with one CRM. Any ideas on how to get those Gong activities into Hubspot?

We currently use ZoomInfo for contact enrichment. We are in the renewal process and evaluating other vendors that have a more integrated partnership with Gong (like Apollo). Has anyone switched to Apollo that can provide some insight on the process and how their team uses Apollo within Gong Engage?

How can i export the smart tracker summary for a custom smart tracker to a text field in Salesforce? I do not see the ability to map that to a custom field in SF. Any Suggestions?

Has anyone used the Co-Pilot and Gong integration yet? I have the integration set up but I am struggling to get Co-Pilot to answer the way it needs to. I am starting with the use case presented by Gong in which a rep can ask it questions around their day/ past demos etc. I am struggling as Co-Pilot is pulling so much information around dates and times they’ve mentioned in calls and such. I have tried to use the Database names from the API and phrasing a ton of ways, using co pilot to rephrase my phrase but can’t get it to do a simple review of past day etc. Basically, does any one have any tips on getting it work like the demonstration? I can ask about a very specific call in the time frame and it pulls it up so I know the data exists. 

While customers and prospects are associated in SFDC under one account, partners are working on various opps in other accounts.When capturing calls with partners, It’s more important that the calls would be associated to the relevant account and opp discussed in the call.Manually associating the calls is what we’re doing now, but is there a better way?

Has anyone been able to get Teams Phone integrated with Gong?  I’m not talking about Teams meetings, but just regular calls inbound/outbound using Microsoft Teams.  I’ve had a ticket open with Gong for 2 months.  Hoping someone from the community can at least validate that it works.Microsoft Teams PhoneWe get an error when running the Sync-CsOnlineApplicationInstance powershell command.  Status: NoContent

Currently we have Gong, Zoom and SF integrated.  Under settings/Salesforce Integration, we have the “Create Salesforce tasks when calls are processed” set to TRUE.  When tasks are pushed into SF, the subject is prepended with Zoom: xxxxxxxx.  I’d like to alter this subject line.  Does anyone know of a config in Gong or Zoom that dictates this subject line of the task?  Or is the solution to create automation in SF to update the subject?

Hey all,Wondering if anyone else is utilizing HubSpot Calling and is running into the following issue and may have found a solution?In HubSpot Calling, the call initiator is always Speaker 1 (Stereo Left), so depending on outbound/inbound it is our company employee, or a prospect/customer respectively. The Gong telephony integration setting needs to be set for the company employee to be either Stereo Left or Right.In our case we currently have it set to Stereo Left, and thus on all inbound calls, the roles on the transcripts are reversed, i.e. the transcript says our employee is speaking, but it’s actually the customer. This messes up all the call statistics of talk ratio, patience, etc. as well as trackers that are set to only track mentions by prospects. No solution currently seems to exists from Gong or HubSpot support.

Hi all, I’ve activated the export to HubSpot where I should have meeting invites, conference calls and telephony system calls going to HubSpot. I’ve been looking for the “meetings” and “call” objects in HubSpot but couldn’t find it. Can anyone direct as to where to go to find this info?Thanks!

We are using a tool which has gong integration. This tool make recursive calls for getting call transcripts. Since this is a huge list and also some post processing has to be done on the transcripts.We noticed that even though we use the updated cursor from our previous response. The new cursor expires after 1 hour to the first request. if though the new cursor was just fetched from the response of the latest call.For example this is the response from one of the recursive call.{"requestId":"<request id>","errors":["cursor has expired"]}Does this mean we need to complete the whole operation within 1 hour?Expected behavior: cursor should expire after 1 hour since it was last fetched/generated.PS: we checked the logs and we are sending a new cursor into the next request which we got from the previous one.

Our team switches between MSFT Teams and Zoom calls depending on the client. Has anyone had to do this? We’ve already set up the Zoom/Gong integration, but having trouble with setting up the Teams/Gong.We’ve sent over support requests and keep getting snarky messages back. The help page for integration has not been helpful since our instance of Gong seems to not align with what Gong is suggesting we do.  Would love any support with this from what you’ve seen, and from switching between the two. Hi Everyone! 👋We are implementing Gong while also evaluating other solutions (commission platform, CPQ with renewals and subscriptions, and forecasting tools).  Unfortunately…. we have Zoho CRM.We have Skyvia and it connects to Zoho natively but not Gong.  Workato theoretically does both but doesn’t do DealHub (one of our contenders for CPQ).  DealHub and Gong have native integrations but that likely depends on DealHub having the CRM data which...again is a challenge.I’m evaluating Workato this week as well as testing Skyvia more.  I have done most of the initial CRM stuff directly through Python scripts but I really don’t want this entire integration to: (1) run off scripts siloed with me or only a few folks, (2) miss out on the benefits of a platform (centralized logging, visual data flows, etc).Just looking for experience for non-SF & non-HS integration folks….

We have created a new object in Salesforce called ‘Claims Management’ where we want to record the calls associated with that record. We already use and pay for Gong so thought we could use this.We have Salesforce Gong objects with links to the following objects - Account / Opp / Contacts / Lead - but none of these can be used for a ‘lookup field’ on the ‘Claims Management’ object because they are unrelated in the data model.Can Gong integrate with a separate custom object in Salesforce so we can link Gong calls to this new ‘Claims Management’ object?Thanks in advance. 

Does anyone know of plans for Gong to release a custom GPT to make it easier to interact with the Gong API?  Use case: I want to pull large quantities of call transcripts to search for competitive mentions (not possible in the Gong UI today to my knowledge) and have GPT analyze themes/trends as well as create sales enablement materials to support my compete program.
