We are using the calls API to get the Gong calls for our customers, but that endpoint returns results from the earliest recorded calls to the latest. Meaning we have to paginate all the way to the end, which can be a lot, to get to the latest calls. Is there any for that endpoint to give us the data in the reverse order? with the latest calls coming first. Thanks!
Hi Gong team,I've set up a Call brief in Agent Studio (AI Briefer) and it works great in the UI. I'd like to be able to retrieve the brief output programmatically via API.I noticed the existing GET /v2/entities/get-brief endpoint is built specifically for CRM entities (Account, Deal, Contact, Lead), so it doesn't cover Call briefs. Is there a plan to add a dedicated API endpoint for retrieving Call brief results?I found a community post from ~5 months ago where a Gong support rep mentioned the relevant endpoints are "currently in alpha" — is that still the case, and is there an ETA for public availability?Thank you!
Hi everyone,Are there any SugarCRM users out there? There is no native integration between Gong and Sugar, and I am looking for a way to log calls to contacts, accounts, and opps in SugarCRM.Zapier looks to have some connectors, but I have not been able to configure things.Any help is appreciated!
All of our Microsoft Teams Call Queues are in conference mode. This has many benefits most notably faster call pickup. When we signed up for Gong, we knew this wasn’t supported by the Numonix recording bot and created a work around using the upload api.Since then, Microsoft has released compliance recording and Numonix has updated their recording bot to fully support the ability to record Teams Call Queues in conference mode. I have created the compliance recording policy in Teams and assigned to a test queue. The recording policy activates and I can actually see the call in Gong while it is ongoing. However, once the call completes the recording disappears.I am not sure why the call is being discarded when it completes. Since Queue recording requires its own recording policy, are there different permissions in Gong for Queue calls? I can’t find anything in the Gong documentation that relates to Queue calls. I know a year ago, the documentation said that conference mode had to be turne
Are you using Gong Data Cloud with Snowflake?I’m exploring an MCP layer on top of Gong data, and I’m trying to additional real-world use cases.I’m not trying to replace Gong’s AI features. Gong Assistant, AI Briefer, Smart Trackers, scorecards, and related native workflows already cover a lot of in-product use cases. For example, a warehouse/MCP layer could help teams identify which topics, objections, call patterns, account segments, or risk signals are worth turning into Smart Trackers, briefs, scorecards, or other structured Gong workflows. That feels useful because teams may need to be selective about what they configure, monitor, and operationalize inside Gong.A few questions:What Gong data do you actually query in Snowflake? What do you join it with? What questions are hard to answer in Gong itself but easier in the warehouse? Have you used warehouse analysis to decide what to configure back inside Gong? If an MCP interface existed on top of that data, what would you want it to e
We have a number of different account record types:Client (roughly 100) Client Subgroup (multiple thousands) Vendor Potential ClientBut, we only want to import and be able to automatically associate to the Client and Potential Client account record types. When searching in Gong, ALL of our accounts pop up, including some with potential confusing naming conventions without the rest of the record context like you’d have when searching Salesforce. Is there a way to filter which accounts get brought into Gong? None of the default CRM Settings seem intuitive to be able to do this. Thanks in advance!
Hi Does anybody know if there is a way to run APIs from within Gong itself. ideally what I am looking for is that after every recording, we link to a 3rd party system that we push the recording, transcript and metadata to. So rather than have the 3rd party pull data from Gong, Gong actively pushes data out after every call recording.I hope that makes sense,I can’t see an option to do that anywhere so was wondering if it was supported and where to configure it, etc. Thanks
Similar to how the Data Cloud integrations provide ETL_MODIFIED_DATETIME (a timestamp of the date and time the data was modified), it would be really helpful for each call record to also include a similar field in API responses. This would be useful for seeing which historical records are due for a resync after something has been updated (eg transcript updated based on custom dictionary words, speakers identified via the UI, the call was associated to an account in the UI, etc).
I’m looking for an API Endpoint i can call to return AI Smart Tracker content? We have defined an AI Smart Tracker called “Business motivation” i cannot seem to find a public API endpoint that exposes the data? I can see /call returns this it its response but this doesn’t seem to be a public endpoint ?
Hi everyone, I’m using the Gong Users API (List Gong Engage flows (/v2/users)) to fetch all users.I couldn’t find any documentation specifying the maximum number of users that can be fetched in one call. Also, couldn’t find any filtering part in API doc. Can someone please confirm:I want to filter on emailAddress field/or any other fields on usersAPI, is there any way to achieve that? What’s the maximum number of users the API can return in one request? How many users(max no. of users) can be present, if there is any such data?
Hello,In the future, will Gong support syncing other data to HubSpot?Right now the Gong export data is limited to a call link, call summary, and call participants. So we are relying on the Gong API for extracting extra data.I just want to confirm if a Gong pipeline for the extensive data provided by the Gong API is planned or not.Thank you.
Currently I created a new AI Brief (for calls) with an specific format, that worked pretty well, the next step I would like to achieve is every time a call is done I would like to run that custom AI Brief and save that output in salesforce, currently the default Notes overview is saved in salesforce in the field Gong_Call_Brief__c but I would like to have also the one generated by the Custom AI Brief I created. How can that be achieved? do I need to contact support to enable the sync for that custom AI Brief? I already have created a new field in salesforce for the Custom_Gong_Call_Brief__c
Hi Community, hope you can help me with this, I created an api gateway in aws to use it as a webhook from gong, I'm trying to create from automation rules but when I add the aws url https://<apiId>.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/development/webhook/<keynumber> gong doesn't allow me to create the rule or even test it, the weird thing is when I use an url from webhook.site it works, do you know if there is any restriction for aws urls? is it necessary to register those urls from another place in gong? thanks for your help. This fails when using aws apigateway url: This works (Using webhook.site):
Does gong AI have the capability to update ( scorecard) data into Salesforce Custom Objects ?
Hi Friends - I was super excited to see the partnership between Gong and TCS, only to find out that anything from a “pre-baked” perspective is owned by Challenger.Does anyone have anything pre-baked (smart trackers, scorecards, etc) around TCS that you could share?Would love to not reinvent the wheel! :)
We continue to have sporadic issues with emails syncing into Gong (from Outlook) but not being created as a task in Salesforce. I have submitted several support tickets which are resolved by manually syncing the email to SF but we continue to have issues which is very inconvenient, and frustrating for my sales teams. I’m just wondering if anyone else is experiencing continued issues or if there are tips/tricks, outside of those posted in Gong help, that would minimize these issues. Thanks for any feedback! A
Just curious if anyone has done any of the integrations like this: Take the transcript from a Gong call; send it to ChatGPT to ask the GPT some standardized question(s); and then put the results of that into SFDC on the associated account. The use case is to do some analysis on a call beyond what Gong’s current AI can do and append the SFDC record with that analysis. I currently use Zapier which integrates to all three tools; but curious if anyone has any experience doing this.
Hello Community members, Wanted to seek some advice on how to manage the score card updates in Opportunity. We are running short of fields in opportunity object in SFDC. As part of our scorecards updates from Gong to Salesforce we need 50-60 fields created in Salesforce. However we are not in the luxury of creating so many fields. Was wondering how others are handing this situation Is there a way to push them to Gong Related Opportunity fields ? or any other innovative Solution Advice here is appreciated.
Many of the AE’s in my org use Salesforce To-do’s as reminders for actions on opportunities, accounts, contacts etc. For example a rep may create a To-do as a reminder to checkin with a customer on a specific date. That checkin occurs by phone and is recorded by Gong. Gong then creates an activity in Salesforce representing the call. I now have duplicate activities for the same follow up. I thought to create a flow in Salesforce to delete the manually created To-do but I’m not sure how to associate the two activity records so the system can identify duplicates. Has anyone solved the issue or have recommendations? I appreciate any suggestions! :)
After publishing on the Gong collective, the oauth app configuration is readonly. I want to update scopes and add a redirect URL. How can I do this? Thanks!
In Salesforce if a Tracker is present on a Gong recording, a record is created on the Call/Conversation object in for each Tracker. For Keyword trackers, you are allowed to populate a field called Tracker Phrase that sends over the exact phrase that triggered the tracker. I was wondering if there was an equivalent for Smart Trackers. I thought it’d be interesting to see that information in Salesforce, particularly on Opportunities where any of the Playbook (we use MEDDPICC) Smart Trackers are present.
We have Gong integrated with Salesforce (our CRM). We use Hubspot for automated marketing and is also integrated with Salesforce. I’d like to get Gong activity in Hubspot as well to help with ABM, but when Gong only supports integration with one CRM. Any ideas on how to get those Gong activities into Hubspot?
Hello everyone,I’m exploring how to implement a seamless event streaming integration that links our backend systems with Gong’s platform for real time insights. Specifically, I’m curious about architectural patterns and tools for ingesting high volume call data, ensuring low latency and fault tolerance. When handling Kafka support, how are others setting up consumer groups, retention policies, and schema evolution? Are there established best practices or pitfalls to watch for, especially around managing offsets, handling retry logic, and monitoring throughput?I’d appreciate examples, tooling recommendations, or lessons learned that could help us build a scalable, reliable streaming pipeline.
Hi everyone,I’m currently facing issues with my email campaigns landing in spam instead of the inbox, and it’s starting to affect open rates and customer engagement.I’ve read about email deliverability consultants who specialize in identifying the technical and strategic reasons behind poor deliverability.Has anyone here worked with one before? Are they worth the investment for a small-to-medium business, or is it better to troubleshoot things like authentication, list hygiene, and content optimization on my own?I’d love to hear real experiences and recommendations before making a decision.
Hi everyone,As we navigate the complexities of sales and customer interactions, maintaining a strong online reputation has become paramount.Given Gong's capabilities in capturing and analyzing customer conversations, how can we, as Gong users, effectively manage and enhance our organization's reputation?I’ve heard about Reputation Prime as a tool that might help in this area. How have others integrated it into their workflow to strengthen their reputation? Are there specific strategies or best practices within the Visioneer Community that have proven successful in leveraging Gong's insights for reputation management?
