Hey there, So I am trying to use more the Gong agents but its getting a little bit frustrating that Gong agents can't read and analyse CSV, DOCX and PDF files…… Do you have any workaround for that?  

Hi everyone, looking to see if anyone has encountered a similar challenge.We have sellers who may have multiple open opportunities for the same account. With our current Gong configuration, when a call or email is associated with that customer, the activity is being logged against every open opportunity for the account, rather than just the opportunity it is most relevant to.This creates challenges with opportunity-level activity and engagement tracking.Has anyone run into this and developed a solution or workaround to ensure Gong activity is associated with the right opportunity, rather than all open opportunities for the account?Would love to hear how others are handling this.

My implementation starts soon, and I pushed to get Gong. My challenges are going to be around ensuring the data is captured correctly and gives actionable results, and ensuring managers have the understanding on how best to leverage gong.

We built an internal OAuth integration in Admin center > API using Personal access and read-only scopes (calls, transcripts, users, stats, mcp:read). The goal is for every Gong user at our company to connect their own account through our internal AI assistant. Today, any user who isn't a Technical Administrator gets blocked at the consent screen with: "Insufficient permissions - You need to be Technical Administrator to authorize [integration] access to your account." Why this should be allowed: Personal access already limits data to what the authorizing user can see in Gong. A user approving read-only access to their own data shouldn't need org-wide admin rights. The current workarounds aren't great:- Making users Tech Admins over-grants privileges.- A Shared access integration authorized once by an admin gives every user of the tool access to all company calls, which breaks least privilege. Request: Let regular users authorize Personal access integrations that a Tech Admin has alr

Hi!Does anyone know why my gong mobile app doesn’t notify for inbound calls through my business phone number?  The org uses gong connect and when a reps business number is called it only pops up in the gong web app and never goes to the reps mobile app. They can call out of the mobile app but the inbound calls don’t show up.I have reviewed every inch of gong documentation and am waiting on gong support but don’t yet have a solution. We do use gong engage and want to conduct inbound and outbound calls through the gong app without forwarding.

I want to be able to summarize the calls that my team is having and have that summary sent to me. I’ve been try to figure out a way to export all the call transcripts for specific team members, and then have set up an automation using Zapier and a custom GPT that should process this transcript and send me the summary to Slack.  I’m stuck at step 1, where I cannot find a way to extract the transcript for a gong call. Have folks successfully achieved this?

Hello-We have a number of customers that ask us to disable call recording for security reasons. As a result, we need to manually take notes. What is the best way to make these notes visible to Gong and the specific account history?Ideally, it would be great to add the meeting notes to a specific field in SFDC in the Calendar event, and have that sync back to Gong into the Gong Calendar event.Another option would be to have the ability to add additional notes to an existing Calendar event, and have that incorporated into the summary and synced back to SFDC.Let me know if there is something I am missing on this.Best,MarcHere is a SFDC Calendar Event, and some of the fields that could work.
