Allow guests to download recording

Great question. Currently there is no way to do this through the external share functionality.

For context, we designed this aspect of Gong to allow users like yourself to share content with those outside your organization (or without access to your Gong instance) in a manner that is trackable so that you understand who is engaging with your content. Of course, once something is downloaded, access and consumption generally can’t be tracked. 

How I typically see folks work around this is to download the mp4 yourself, upload it to a sharing platform like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox etc and then share it through that means so that it can be downloaded by the recipient.

I’d also love to encourage you to submit your idea as a feature request on this form created just for Community members to share their input about how the platform can be improved in ways like you mentioned.
