We have an in person (old school) meeting. How can we record the meeting w/o opening a zoom call?

I suggest you follow these 3 steps:
1) Record the call:
Old school or not we need to record the call, and any recording that produces a file will work. Probably the easiest thing is to record it on your phone.
2) Upload the call:
Upload the call from the Gong Home tab. This is a good help center article on the topic
3) Associate the call (optional):
If the call was with a client/ prospect you can optionally associate the call with an account and opportunity once the call is loaded.
Caveats:
- Speaker attribution: When a call is uploaded, the attendees appear as Caller 1, Caller 2, etc. If you have Gong Voice Identification turned on Gong will be able to identify specific callers, but a lot will depend on the quality of the recording.
- Host attribution: If it's important to associate the call with a particular person/ Gong user, note that whoever uploads the call becomes the host. Therefore if this is a sales call you may consider having the salesperson upload the call, or you can log in as that user and upload that call as them.
Showing the power of Community,
+1 to the Gong notetaker app. It isn’t perfect (I had speaker recognition issues) but it’s better than having no recording at all for a rep like me!
How did the meeting go,
Very well ! Thanks for asking
I also wanted to share our recent Gong Academy recording (~30 min) that explains more about how you can Gong on the go with our mobile app! Click here to access the recording. Download the app by searching “Gong.io” where you normally download apps in your mobile device. Happy Gonging!
