We use Microsoft Outlook and have the Gong for Outlook add-in installed so we can generate dynamic links that meeting invitees use.  This first routes to a Consent Page and then upon selection, into the Microsoft Teams Web Conference meeting.

Is there a way to create a Hyperlink “on top” of the dynamically generated Gong link?  I’ve tried but so far this has been unsuccessful.

The dynamic URL that is generate looks unofficial (feedback from prospects and customers) and I confirmed with the Gong Support Team that you are unable to change the initial instance ID (the unique Gong instance ID generated during implementation) and that you can only change the company name and first name / last name options.

Hi @Cory Arthur — I’m looking into this for you. Thanks for your patience! 🙏

Hi again @Cory Arthur!

In terms of OOTB Gong platform functionality, what the Support team shared is correct.

However, if you have the resources, you could build your own extension and use our API to create and manage the Gong meeting links that redirect to the associated Gong Meeting on the backend.

I hope this helps!
