Integration with Salesforce: distinguish call invitees from participants

Hello,

We have Gong integrated with Salesforce and I wanted to know if we can sync in Salesforce which are the call invitees and participants in the Event that is created in Salesforce related to that call.

Yes you can do that very easily if you using Gong for Salesforce. (see detail below) 

If you have just checked the “Create Salesforce tasks when calls are processed” checkbox, then you do not get normalized/ structured/ detailed data on invitees. v participants.

Participants

Participant custom objects include everyone that was either invited or participated in the call, and the type - User, Contact, Lead. If the participant is not in Salesforce, then the Type field stays blank.”
