Many of the AE’s in my org use Salesforce To-do’s as reminders for actions on opportunities, accounts, contacts etc.  For example a rep may create a To-do as a reminder to checkin with a customer on a specific date. That checkin occurs by phone and is recorded by Gong. Gong then creates an activity in Salesforce representing the call. I now have duplicate activities for the same follow up. 

I thought to create a flow in Salesforce to delete the manually created To-do but I’m not sure how to associate the two activity records so the system can identify duplicates. 

Has anyone solved the issue or have recommendations?
