  1. Is there any benefit to using Read-Only integration vs Gong for Salesforce Managed Package? From what I’ve read, Managed Package has all the advantages. Is there any reason not to install it?
  2. What is the best way to train sales leaders and reps how to use Gong for Salesforce Managed Package after it is installed?

Hey Will! Tagging in @Andrew O'Driscoll for his thoughts - he just led a Gong x Salesforce meetup earlier this month :)

@Molly Kipnis I watched the recording of the webinar, and it was fantastic! I’m excited for more.
I’ve been watching other Gong for SFDC videos too.

@Andrew O'Driscoll I’m curious if teams who have Gong for SFDC installed see a decline in use of Gong’s in-house features such as the Warnings in the Deals board and Assists features? Is there any data that shows number/percentage of deals closed for Gong users with Gong for SFDC package vs without the package? These questions provide further context into question #1 above.

@Will Hayes thanks for watching the recording and for your follow up question.

How would you like a follow on session focused 100% on reporting within Gong for Salesforce?

I’m curious if teams who have Gong for SFDC installed see a decline in use of Gong’s in-house features such as the Warnings in the Deals board and Assists features?

At a high level, and while I don’t have empirical data to prove it, my experience is that if anything using Gong for Salesforce increases overall adoption / use of Gong as more people are examining the data, asking questions, paying attention to key metrics etc.

On the use of “Warnings in the Deals board and Assists features”, these features are not in Gong for Salesforce, so they their use or lack of use would not be impacted by an increased Gong for Salesforce use.

Is there any data that shows number/percentage of deals closed for Gong users with Gong for SFDC package vs without the package?

Since I’m not a Gong employee I don’t have access to this type of data, but it would be very interesting to know.

What is the best way to train sales leaders and reps how to use Gong for Salesforce Managed Package after it is installed?

Consider this great Gong Academy resource.

If they are already used to working with Gong, it can be as simple as telling them that many of the Gong features are now available to them in Gong. Likely a pretty light training/ building awareness. They can decide when they want to Gong for Salesforce versus doing it directly in Gong.

If they are new to Gong,  you will have to do a more robust training since you have to teach them about Gong - doing a call review, watching the video, looking at the transcript, the call to SFDC record association, reports etc.

Is there any reason not to install it?

No!
