Support got back to me and said to just skip step 4 (Sync-CsOnlineApplicationInstance powershell command).
"If an application ID was provided at the creation of the application instance, you need not run this cmdlet."
This guidance is based on the MS documentation referenced from the Sync-CsOnlineApplicationInstance (MicrosoftTeamsPowerShell).
This works, but question for others.
There is no announcement that the call is being recorded. How do we account for states/countries that have a 2-party consent law to phone recording? If the recipient doesn't wish to be recorded, what do we do? There doesn’t seem to be a way to stop the recording.
