As the Head of Enablement, but not an opportunity owner, I would like to write some template emails for our teams. Is it possible to write and save templates in a “generic” sense, and save them for use by the team (like scorecards)?

Here’s an article with all of the details.
What you’re referring to are considered “Company Templates” and can only be created/edited by an Admin (which I’m going to assume you are) but anyone can use them or copy them into their personal template folder and edit it to their liking!
