If an external party organizes a call, it won’t automatically record. If you’d like to record it, you can always add assistant@gong.io to the calendar event. If you do, note that only the host of the meeting URL will be able to admit or remove the bot. Because of this, we recommend only adding assistant@gong.io if you own the meeting URL, to ensure you maintain full control of the bot.

This might deserve a new thread, but I have a question about using Gong Assistant in Outlook within the same company. Can a non-owner of a meeting, where the owner is with the same company/domain, forward a meeting invite to Gong Assistant and get her added? We aren’t having luck here, but I don’t know if it’s just user error. I can’t seem to find a setting in Outlook that allows participants (non-owners) to add people directly to a meeting. Am I the only one with this issue??

TIA!
