Gong Dialer Recording Notification

Is there a way to set up Dialer to notify the person you are calling that it is being recorded? Right now it reminds our reps to let the contact know the call is being recorded, but we would rather have it be an automatic notification rather than relying on the rep.

No ​@Jon DiDonato (bummer I had to start the response that way!) Gong Dialer can’t currently play an automatic “this call is being recorded” message to the person you’re calling. It only reminds the rep to say it. Automated consent tools (audio prompt, consent page, pre-call email) are for web-conference recordings only, not Dialer calls.

If you need an automatic spoken disclaimer, you’d have to configure it in your external telephony system (e.g., Zoom Phone/Teams Phone IVR) and have calls go through that, and/or standardize a short consent script for reps.
