Has anyone tried using Gong to source customer case studies? If so, I’d love to hear what trackers/filters you set up to find these.

Hi @Rae Keinan ! We use them here at Gong and I’m happy to share some that work for us.

 

One of our PMs created a Positive Sentiment smart tracker, this pulls in all of the calls with happy customers. Here are examples of the keywords that our PM chose to create the smart tracker and here’s some additional info on how to create it. On top of this, since Gong is linked with our Salesforce instance, I pull in additional filtering we get from our CRM like:

  • Gainsight Health score
  • NPS promoters
  • Persona from Marketo (VP+ is always great because it’s easier to get approval for a case study if it comes from a higher up)
  • Specific products or integration

Another quick tip if you have the Ask Anything feature in Gong, is once you pull in all of your calls, you can do a quick summary check by using the Ask Anything feature and asking on the account level “Would this account be a good case study story to pursue?” Then the Ask Anything feature usually summarizes everything notable from the account. Saves me tons of time!
