I recently connected Gong with SalesForce and I realized a bit late that the whole export of meetings and calls were exported as tasks and not events.
Now I changed the settings, but I am left with appr. 200 records in Salesforce protocolled as tasks.
Do you have any best use cases how to modify them to events? Or this happens then automatically with the sync?

Meetings and calls in Gong can be exported as either tasks or events in Salesforce, based on user preference. Once you apply your desired settings for exporting as tasks or events, they are saved and applied onwards, without triggering a backfill.
There may be a way to bulk edit those tasks to events in Salesforce — I recommend consulting their documentation.
