Introduce yourself to the Community

Hey Community friends,

We thought it might be fun to know who’s who -- I’ll start!

I’m Nisha, and I’ve been with Gong since April. I’m so excited to lead our Community efforts. I live in Mountain View and am really passionate about building Gong Marvels. My family consists of three generations of sales people! Hit me up if you have any questions or concerns, or you just want to say hi.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi All,

My name is David and I'm an Training Development Manager at Optimove.
I’m educator and a creative-type at heart. I'm an American born Israeli, a third generation Tel-Avivian on both sides, a happily married father of two and a proud bicycle owner. My interests are Judaism, film and television and radical education. I've done a lot of different things over the past twelve years (cooking, studying, teaching, producing, writing, performing...), but I’ve finally found my calling as an L&D professional.

What a beautiful family! Welcome to the Gong Community @David Kandel! We have a lot to learn from you 🙂

What’s up Gong!  I’m on the Product Management team of my company… and yet, Gong is still my favorite tool in the arsenal.  If there are other product folks who use Gong to understand customer insights, let’s trade tips!

(Or anyone else who lives in Vermont, for that matter!)

Woohoo! Welcome @Christopher Gomes! Would love to hear more about how you’re using Gong from a Product Management perspective (and I’m sure other folks in the Community would too!)

@Molly Kipnis We’re an early-stage B2B SaaS startup, so our most important source of ideas and feedback is talking to our customers.  Gong helps us in two ways:

  1. As an archive. Every call that a Product team member leads is recorded by Gong, so we can rest assured the recording is available to review later on and that there will be a good transcript.  Takes the pressure off of taking notes live.  For those calls led by other departments (Sales, CS, etc.) we know we can watch the recording later to mine for insights.  Nice that all transcripts are searchable etc. so if we want to find mention of a competitors’ product, or a specific need, etc, we can query Gong.
  2. As a tool for building a shared understanding of our customers.  Most importantly… we play Gong clips back to the team constantly, to build a shared understanding of what our customers care about.  Sure, I could tell the team “Our customers really care about a powerful search feature”, but that’s not memorable.  If instead I play them a clip from the horse’s mouth, and they actually hear the customer exclaim, “I LOVE your search feature!  I would die if you took that away!”, they’ll remember that.

We also do a little bit of Product Manager training using Gong, where more tenured folks will provide advice about how to conduct quality discovery interviews to newer folks.

Hey @Nick Hatley, welcome to the Gong Community! Super pumped you are here   Would love to know more about how you’re using Gong as Head of Sales at Docket!

Hey, Team! Kyle Haran here from beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia!

I’m thrilled to be a part of Gong and getting access to this community to learn, grow and share.

I joined Gong as a member of their Strategic Accounts Team to help evangelize all that Gong can do for the wonderful “upmarket” companies that are just getting started with Revenue Intelligence.

I’ve done EVERY job in sales from entry to leadership and am happy to offer any insight or support I can muster.

Fun fact - I’ve built not one, not two, but three homes from the ground up! No I do not own three homes but have moved around a lot. It’s a challenging but fun experience and I can definitely give you the ins and outs if you’re doing new construction.

Hi there!

I’m Erik and I am on the Sales Ops team at Gremlin. I just joined the team in March and have not used Gong much except for watching some recordings of our sales teams. I’m looking forward to getting started and understanding the ins and outs of the system!

I’m based out of Northern NJ, but our team is fully remote and scattered all across North America. Looking forward to collaborating as I get more involved with Gong!

Hey community!

I’m Samara Senoville, Revenue Enablement Lead at Pigment based in Paris, France with my husband, two kids, and our Whippet! I grew up moving internally, so not originally “from” anywhere, but I consider myself mostly American (most recently DC).

I begged and pleaded for Gong at my last org and was given a much inferior product (that was not renewed after a year, go figure). Now at Pigment, I’m so excited to have Gong and all the awesome intelligence that comes with it.

Looking forward to connecting with everyone here!

Hi everyone,

I’m Araba DeGraft-Hanson, an Instructional Designer at Zillow, based in Georgia. My family is from both the American South and Ghana, so I love all things food, music, and culture!

I’m excited to learn more about Gong in order to better help our new hires onboard quickly to the tool. Looking forward to connecting with other Gong lovers here!

Hello, everyone! My name is Kemal, originally from PDX, now in the DC area working for TEKsystems as a Product Owner and Gong Admin. I have a long history in sales and business development, and really wish we had Gong “back in the day”. But we have Gong now and our teams will be the better for it. In my “off time” I race bikes, run 10k’s/half-marathons, and swim. And every-once-in-while I’m convinced to put them all together in one event. 😁

Hi Gong Community,

  • 2 kiddos under 5 years old
