Hello Program Managers – welcome to the Gong Community! As we talked about in the Academy, being Gong certified means that you’ll visit the Community regularly to connect with other Gong users, help answer questions about Gong, learn from each other, and share your own ideas and best practices. 

 

Another awesome aspect about the Community is that it connects you and other Gong customers directly with Gongsters (i.e., the folks who work at Gong). We pop in all the time to share news, answer questions, provide tips and tricks, and participate in the conversations our customers are having.  

 

Your first assignment for the Launch Certification Study Guide is to answer at least one of the following questions:

  1. What is at least one thing you want to learn while completing the Program Manager Launch Certification Study Guide? 

  2. What is your goal in becoming Launch certified?

  3. What is one takeaway you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

  • What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification? 

    • How to use gong to its’ fullest and be able to share best practices with the rest of the team. 

    • Be able to configure gong features to best benefit the org and the teams that interact with it. 

My goal is to fully understand the benefits and functionalities of Gong so that I can provide better support to our Sales Teams. More specifically, we want to understand the data & analytics side of the Gong and identify actionable insights our teams can utilize.

Hi all! My goal for taking this certification is to not only confirm and expand my understanding of how to configure our Gong tools, but also to learn best practices for supporting teams as they adopt Gong. 

Through the Program Manager Certification, I hope to become the Subject Matter Expert in all things Gong for my organization. We are adding Gong to our tech stack and we’ve never used conversation intelligence before. My goal for Gong is to ensure we extracting meaningful, action-driven insights from the platform, and I would like the PM certification to guide me through processes and best practices in which to accomplish that goal.

What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification? 

I want to learn how to utilize all the integrations Gong has to offer in order to offer more insights to the Revenue Team at my company!

My goal in becoming Launch Certified is to work towards having the most Gong knowledge possible to best support my customers!

Greetings All!

My goal in becoming Launch Certified is to become a Gong expert! Part of my responsibilities is to develop onboarding programs for new hires and help them become ramped up quickly and efficiently. Tools training is a huge part of our onboarding programs and Gong is one of the tools we use. I’d like to be able to provide support to our Sales reps when using Gong during their product demos with our prospects and to assist in closing more deals. I specifically want to learn Gong more closely to help our reps in the UK feel more comfortable in using it by recording their calls and help alleviate their hesitation in using it - and not turning it off. I want to know all the ins-and-outs of Gong.

          I want to be an internal support system in my organization to empower our Customer Success                team to be expert users!

          I love learning new things and by the end of this experience I hope to gain valuable insight on                  how I can encourage best practices within our team to decrease our onboarding time and                        increase our efficiency with Customer engagement.

    I am wanting to feel confident in my understanding of Gong and being able to provide the assistance that others may need with the tool.

    I am hoping to gain more than the surface level understanding of the tool.

  • I’m hoping to find some best practices shared across all of our amazing Gong PMs that I can impart on my clients

 

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

  • I’d love to be able to understand this process soup to nuts from PM lens, and let them know timeline/commit to getting this certification

 

What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

  • Knowledge! I’ve heard this is a tricky certification so I’m looking forward to the challenge!

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

I want to become certified so that I can continue to be the subject matter expert for my customers.

My goal in becoming PM certified is two fold:

  1. Provide guidance on Gong content that will empower other PMs to drive the adoption of Gong
  2. Share learnings with customers on tracking/measuring most important business priorities in Gong

What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification? I’d like to gain a greater understand of how Gong can support organizations in improving Enablement!

  • I want to understand how our customers are using Gong, how the Gong customer education team defines launch readiness, and I want to uplevel my own skills in Gong!

My goals in becoming Launch Certified are: 

1) demonstrate mastery of Gong

2) become a trusted advisor to other Gong users by being able to readily share best practices

As a CSM at Gong, my goal is to learn as much as I possibly can about the platform and be well informed when recommending the certification to my customers. 

What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

I am hoping to learn what I don’t know about Gong. There seems to be a surface-level usage of Gong, but I do feel there are workarounds and other ways to use Gong more effectively, I am just not sure yet.

My goal is to gain knowledge and perspective on what it takes to launch Gong so that I can better support our clients and further my understanding of the platform.

My goal for completing this certification is to understand the workload that my customers will go through so that I can set proper expectations and become an SME myself.

I love Gong but I know there are aspects of the platform I am not using to their full potential. I’m here to become more fluent in Gong functionality so I can be a stronger resource for my team and clients.
