  1. What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

My goal is simple; I want to leverage Gong and all of its features to support the initiatives we currently have and are launching in the future. I want to be able to speed up time to value, and time to onboard and provide quantifiable metrics to show - and not just tell about our results.

Hi there!

My goal in becoming launch certified is to be the go-to person for trainings, best practices and more. When a team or colleague has a question or would like a training personalized to their/their team’s working and coaching style, I’ll be able to walk them through. I’d like to develop my admin abilities a bit further and become more confident in managing the backend of the platform.

I inherited our Gong instance when joining the company, but am also supporting an expansion of Gong for use within our CS teams.  My goal with becoming Launch Certified is to 1) confirm our instance is configured ideally 2) support the launch of Gong for the CS teams 3) it never hurts to have a certification back-up knowledge!

Launching a new tool across your sales org, consists of two major aspects:

Knowing the tool end-to-end and all parameters to extract value out of it

Creating a buzz and ensuring quick wins, to ensure sales is utilizing the power of Gong on a daily basis

While, we all have a lot of dreams when we purchase a tool, I’m looking forward to the realities in making this a successful enablement tool for my sales team, and the go-to dashboard for my CEO.

As a Gong user, I’m eager to learn the main aspects about Gong that are specific to a Program Manager and how the PM interacts with Gong versus an everyday user like me. I’m eager to get a lens into the world of Gong PMs across companies and better understand the product from a PM perspective.

What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

As a shiny new enablement professional, Gong has been my first taste of launching a tool to our sales team, so I want to take away the knowledge and skills in order to make adoption high. In addition, I want to use my training/understanding of the tool as a jumping off point for other tools and trainings I’ll be developing in my new industry/career. I want to be the de facto Gong expert on our team!

Hi @Kellie Petruzzelli and other Program Managers. Do any of you have the Gong Scavenger Hunt document that was mentioned in the recording Section 1: Live Training for Admins?

Operationally, how can we minimize the time required from Managers to search for relevant content?

Hi, there! Hello!

I’m Gus, Sales Enablement Specialist at Peek. Our company is growing exponentially, and Gong has been one of the key tools to our sucess. I have been working with our Sales Ops team and this certification will help me help them, and the rest of the Sales team, in achieving their full potential, learn from our own mistakes and wins. How? Keeping Gong tuned at its fullest, using all the tricks and tools available. You can teach someone to fish, but if you also hand them a Shimano to help their skill...

What’s my goal in becoming certified?

As an Enterprise CSM here at Gong, I want to make sure I can speak to all topics in this certification to better assist my Program Managers and also become knowledgable in all areas so I can be a better resource to my customers.

I’m most interested in increasing knowledge in areas we haven’t yet really worked on in Gong. As a manager, I’m also interested in going through this so I can recommend to my team.

My goal in getting Launch Certified is to solidify and deepen my foundational understanding of the Gong platform in order to support new and current Gong COMM CSMs!

I want to become a Gong expert & learn what I don’t currently know! This course was amazing and will defiantly be going back over it for nuggets of information & will certainly be sending all my customers here to get certified!

Hello! This is my second week as a Gongster and I am pretty much trying to learn everything I can about Gong. I understand the basics but I know there is so much more to uncover. I want to make sure I have the necessary knowledge so I can in turn create the best trainings possible for our customers. I’m also excited to go through amazing training created by my fellow teammates and up my game as an Instructional Designer!

Have used Gong in the past and want to take my knowledge up a notch to help the team know what is happening strategically.

The goal in becoming Launch certified is to have a better understanding of the tool so that I can better enable my team and act as an advisory for best practices. I’m hoping to learn ways other PMs have used and launched Gong successfully.

I am looking to get a better grasp Gong to enable my teams.

(Hi! You’ve reached a topic specifically for folks participating in the Program Manager Launch Certification. If you’re a Gong Program Manager and would like to learn more about getting certified, please click here!)

Hello Program Managers – welcome to the Gong Community! As we talked about back in the Academy, being Gong certified means that you’ll visit the Community regularly to connect with other Gong users, help answer questions about Gong, learn from each other, and share your own ideas and best practices.

Another awesome aspect about the Community is that it connects you and other Gong customers directly with Gongsters (i.e., the folks who work at Gong). We pop in all the time to share news, answer questions, provide tips and tricks, and participate in the conversations our customers are having.

To that end, your first assignment for your Launch Certification is to answer at least one of the following questions:

  1. What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification?

  2. What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

  3. What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

(If you want to answer more than one, that’s okay—feel free to share as much as you’d like!)

Congrats on tackling the first of your Community assignments! Feel free to pop back over to the Gong Academy when you’re finished to keep learning. :)
