Hi! You’ve reached a topic specifically for folks working through the Program Manager Launch Certification Study Guide. These Program Managers are working toward becoming Gong certified! If you’re a Gong Program Manager and would like to learn more about getting certified, please click here!

Hello Program Managers – welcome to the Gong Community! As we talked about in the Academy, being Gong certified means that you’ll visit the Community regularly to connect with other Gong users, help answer questions about Gong, learn from each other, and share your own ideas and best practices.

Another awesome aspect about the Community is that it connects you and other Gong customers directly with Gongsters (i.e., the folks who work at Gong). We pop in all the time to share news, answer questions, provide tips and tricks, and participate in the conversations our customers are having.

Your first assignment for the Launch Certification Study Guide is to answer at least one of the following questions:

  1. What is at least one thing you want to learn while completing the Program Manager Launch Certification Study Guide?

  2. What is your goal in becoming Launch certified?

  3. What is one takeaway you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

(If you want to answer more than one, that’s okay—feel free to share as much as you’d like!)

Congrats on tackling the first of your Community assignments! Feel free to pop back over to Gong Academy when you’re finished to keep learning.

Q: What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

My goal in becoming Launch Certified is to be the subject matter expert on all things Gong within my organization. I’m hoping to acquire all the tools needed to successfully onboard my sales team and ensure Gong integrates with our digital selling platforms.

What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification?

As the Gong Tech Admin for our company, there’s many things I want to know, understand and master. For me to best support the Team, my first focus post integration with Salesforce - How can I use Gong to best support the User (Salesperson) but also get from it what the Company Stakeholders need as in regards to data? Tips or Tricks?

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified? My goal in becoming Launch Certified is pretty simple. I know the best way for me to explain how to use the platform to our teams is to just learn it. And who better to teach me - Gong!😎

What is one take away you’re hoping to gain from the Program Manager Launch Certification?

The one take away I hope to gain from this certification. Knowing how to maximize and extract information for the various departments that will be using the data we compile. We use Salesforce, so I also want to know the in’s and out on how to display the relevant information in Salesforce for the users outside of the sales department.

As a Gong CSM I will be supporting customers, my main goal in becoming Launch Certified is to learn as much as I can about our product and best practices, so that I can extend my expertise to our customers, ensuring they get even more value from Gong.

What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification?

I want to learn how to automate the organization of our content, learn more about Stream and Tracker, and ultimately gain confidence around the tool to optimize my operations as much as possible 📚

Working on Gong’s partner team, my goal in becoming Gong certified is to not only have a technical understanding of the product, but also understand what partners will be doing on our behalf.

What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification?

Best practices for global teams and auditing our existing setup to ensure we are maximizing the value we get from gong.

My goal for certification is to have a wide ranging knowledge of the Gong capabilities because the users will be coming to me to answer their questions.  It’s an efficient way to get the knowledge to the users.

My goal in becoming Launch Certified is to be able to share my takeaways with the rest of my Enablement team so we can all have a better understanding of Gong’s capabilities.

My goal in becoming launch certified is to help clients and gong customer better adopt, configure and leverage Gong to maximize their value from Gong and move closer to leveraging leading indicators more than lagging indicators to manage their business.

Understanding the full potential of Gong is essential to adopt best practices and maximise the value of the system. By become Launch Certified I hope to be able to guide and help our team get up and running as soon as possible and reap the benefits of using Gong.

What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification? I want to learn how to take the findings we have for our team and translate those into actionable insights - what can the team actually DO to improve? What does all the data mean for us? This ties into an overarching goal I have for our team: Sales Enablement is a fairly new position/focus at our company, and I want to help evolve it further.

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

My goal in becoming a Certified Program Manager is to best equip myself with the knowledge needed to ensure my sales team and sales leaders get the best use out of Gong and all of its powerful data. Our goals are to create a culture of coaching among the team, best utilize the deal boards we have created, and work Gong into our reps daily habits and activities.

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

I’m new to my position, and to using Gong, so I want to make sure I’m as knowledgeable as possible about the platform so that I can ensure my organization is utilizing all of gong’s amazing features to the best of their ability

  1. What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?

Our company utilizes Gong B2C and Gong B2B depending on the business scenario and the function of the new hire. It is my goal to learn more about the versatility of Gong to understand its place in our organization’s restructure.

The key takeaway for me is to understand how we maximise the value of Gong within our organisation.  We have been using it for nearly a year and we don’t really use it to the full potential.  By becoming certified I want to be sure that the platform is set up in the correct way and that we can start to adopt this into different teams within the commercial function of our organisation.

We use Gong at a surface level, and want to know how to save reps and managers time by knowing what data to serve up and the best way to use Gong.

I want to increase my knowledge of Gong in addition to understanding if there are any areas we can optimise.

What’s my goal in becoming certified?

I would like to equip myself to be able to understand all of Gong’s functionalities so I can help better equip our Sales Team to get better insight into their conversations. I have yet to scratch the surface of all the features of Gong and aim to use Gong to optimise a few existing processes.

My goal in becoming certified is to champion Gong internally and be the go-to person when new initiatives are being rolled out across the organization. I know how powerful Gong can be, especially for my Enablement team, so I hope to use Gong to not only help reps and leaders succeed, but also prove the value of the Enablement initiatives that my team rolls out. I hope to make Gong top of mind for sales leaders so that Gong is the first place they go for information on their team’s performance!
