What is my goal in becoming Gong Launch Certified? 

My ultimate goal in completing this course and becoming Launch Certified is to further establish my knowledge of all the best practices within Gong and become a subject matter expert for all members of my team. A goal within that goal would be to optimize my organizations usage of Gong. A lot I still don’t know about the tool so I’m very excited to go through this!

As a Gong CSM, one of my biggest priorities is to ensure teams have a successful launch. It sets the stage for the entire journey and makes a huge impact on how quickly we see ROI. I want to make sure that our team is FINALLY able to utilize Gong to its full potential. My goal with going through the Launch Certification process is to decrease the potential for adoption resistance from reps and increase the knowledge and confidence from our leadership team.

There are many factors and business units to account for when setting up a new addition to a company’s tech stack and as a Gong advocate for over 5 years and having setup Gong as RevOps in 2 orgs across 8 regions, this is a no brainer. This certification is to add to my portfolio of skill sets and continue to be Gongs advocate in my company to utilize Gong to its fullest to support key across CS, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Product, etc .

What is my goal in becoming Launch Certified?

  • Gong is an incredible tool, I’ve been using it for years. Over time, I think I’d like to see myself in a Director of CS Strategy & Operations role, so Gong is one of the elements of that tech stack that I want to learn more deeply about, so I can have a better understanding of both the technical tactics and strategy that goes into orchestrating across Gong, Gainsight (working on admin cert in parallel), Sales Navigator, CRM, etc to improve efficiency and use data to make business decisions & recommendations.

Q.What is at least one thing you want to learn during the Program Manager Launch Certification?

  1. Gong is such a robust tool that I feel it can help me create a very well structured process on defining the ideal template for client interaction. I wish to learn and identify the right mix of metrics that might help me monitor the quality of client engagement calls and set the right bench marking standards for coaching purposes.

I want to understand Gong’s capabilities so our team can start seeing the value and insight as soon as possible. Gong has a lot of resources, and this certification will give me the path to learn everything from  implementation to analytics in a efficient and effective manner.

As a newbie in the world of Product Marketing, I would like to be able to understand how I can utilize Gong to assist with our go-to-market strategy. I’d love to hone in on those ‘reasons lost’, find any trends and optimize our product as well as the way we pitch it.

What is your goal in becoming Launch Certified?
I am new to my organization in a sales enablement. I want to fully educate myself on Gong and its functionality so my sales org can take full advantage of everything it has to offer. From my initial observation, the team may be under utilizing it but I also think it will be a key tool as I develop Seller onboarding.

Hello Program Managers – welcome to the Gong Community! As we talked about back in the Academy, being Gong certified means that you’ll visit the Community regularly to connect with other Gong users, help answer questions about Gong, learn from each other, and share your own ideas and best practices. 

 

Another awesome aspect about the Community is that it connects you and other Gong customers directly with Gongsters (i.e., the folks who work at Gong). We pop in all the time to share news, answer questions, provide tips and tricks, and participate in the conversations our customers are having.

    •  Better Account Set-Up processes, refining okta provisioning, understanding how Gong works with various integrations

My goal is two fold:

  1. As a Gong employee, I want to know our product in and out. I want to be able to be a subject matter expert. This will allow me to act as a knowledgeable Strategic Advisor.

A key take away I’d like to gain from this course is a better understanding of how we can be leveraging deal boards. Gong has a lot to offer as a tool and I’d like to have a more robust understanding so that I can further enable our managers and field reps.
