Hello Gong Community, Is there a way for me to set a listening goal for my team in Gong.  I am hoping to set:A team goal that automates based on team members listening to peer Gong calls Individual goals.  I’d like to set a monthly/weekly listening goal for my team that automates when then listen to a call.  There is currently a ‘calls listened to’ chart in “TEAM’/’GONG USAGE’.  I’d like to see that chart show team members that have achieved their goals for the month.Thanks,

If you’d like to share only a portion of a customer call, you can share a snippet by selecting “Share Call” at the top right of the call page > Share with customers > Share a snippet of the call.For more info, check out this help article.

If you notice that a speaker track in Gong belongs to “Phone Caller #1” instead of the user’s name, ask the user if they provided consent for voice identification.You can find more info here.

We have different teams within our company and it seems everyone’s permissions are different so if someone wants to search for a call some see it and some do not...also some can access and some cannot ...how do companies avoid team members wasting time trying to ask for permissions or knowing who can do what?

Is it possible to have one manager be a leader for two different teams? I want to see their statistics separately on the call interaction stats. I have one manager managing SDRs and AEs and need to report on them separately. 

I would like to select a regional team and view all customer meetings as a shared calendar.This would help with researchers/stakeholders joining who may not yet be invited. When I subscribe to users calendars in Google Calendar I can see all meetings.I would like to have a calendar that shows me only meetings that the Notetaker is also joining. .ics file or url would suffice.

If dialer calls import for everyone on your team except one or two users, check to make sure that their first/last names and emails match in Gong and your telephony system.

On the Team Stats screen, what changes when you flip the “Include all call data” switch? In other words, what additional data is included that wasn’t included before?

If you notice that an internal call was recorded when it shouldn’t have been, double check the calendar event to see if any participants used an external email domain (e.g., a personal email address). If they did, that explains things! Gong equates external email addresses with external meetings, and automatically records those calls.

Is there a capability with Gong to send alerts or an email whenever a keyword is heard in a gong call?

Hi all, we are having an issue with our MS Teams integration with GONG. As MS Teams does not provide a personalized link for users and creates a new meeting link every meeting we needed to use a workaround.  The Setup:We created a meeting in Outlook and copied this meeting link into the personalized GONG link section (that was the suggestion in our onboarding) The Problem: The participants of the meeting “stay” connected to the meeting and receive all the future chat messages FROM OTHER CUSTOMER MEETINGS, if we don't manually throw them out of the meeting. → HUGE security/compliance issue.  Do you guys also experience this issue with the MS Teams integration?How do you use GONG in combination with MS Teams so this doesn’t occur?Looking forward to your feedback. BestMichael

If you can’t find your call recording, you can now see the reason it skipped on the ‘Activity’ page. Just select the date at the top > click on the event > and look for the skipped recording icon: Hover over the tooltip to see the reason it didn’t record.For more information, check out this

Gong customer for 6 months, have had a small team for 2 months; looking to do a one-time system clean-up and onboarding.I am planning a thorough review of all recordings (about 125) with a mostly new sales and marketing team. These recordings range from discovery to demo and a handful of fast deal cycles.Many of the calls from February and March were more marketing related discovery calls that we now have product to sell to, so some opportunities are out there right now that we can unlock.Draft plan says we partner with Product & Engineering and pair up 10 pairs of 2, one member from a customer facing role and one from a product creation role. Hi Gong Community,I hope you all are doing just fine and dandy!I am a technology enablement architect as well as the Gong Technical and Business program manager at Mimecast, a Global Cyber Security company.I have been running a Gong Champions program since we rolled the tool out in November of 2021. It’s been quite an effective program as I get the opportunity to do technology enablement, discuss more on new integrations/updates and what's in the pipeline for Gong in the upcoming months…. but now that we have had Gong rolled out for about 8 months, I’ve noticed the program is starting to plateau and my attendance is dropping a bit.As we all know Gong is continuously adapting the platform and there is always content to chat about but I wanted to connect with some seasoned community members to get an idea of how to take my Gong platform to the next level as well create a bit of a “Program Syllabus” so I can make my champions program a bit more lo

Hey everyone! Gong has changed our lives across sales, product and even support. The transcription could get better (maybe editing capability) but for the most part it’s great!however Our sales guys are not going to gong as it’s easier to just jump into the deal board in HubSpot, and then work the deals directly from there which include updating close dates, next steps etc. I’m curious to find out how everyone uses Gong for the deal workflow (and intelligence) when the CRM is HubSpot?   

Our team would prefer to have Gong bot as a participant on recordings but we are using the native Zoom recording integration. Is it possible to still have Notetaker appear on the call?

Want to be sure your web conferencing call records? Follow these tips:  Create a calendar event for the call more than 15 minutes before the call’s start time so it gets scanned by our system. When you need to create an ad-hoc event, add assistant@gong.io as a participant on the invite to make sure it gets recorded. Double check that there’s only one meeting URL on the invite.
