We currently use ZoomInfo for contact enrichment. We are in the renewal process and evaluating other vendors that have a more integrated partnership with Gong (like Apollo). Has anyone switched to Apollo that can provide some insight on the process and how their team uses Apollo within Gong Engage?
I am trying to download all my detailed call records and call transcripts using the Gong API through postman. When I use the ‘GET’ function to get the calls, i am able to use the standard process of adding the cursor as a parameter to get the further pages. However, when I use the ‘POST’ function to get detailed call reports or transcripts, i enter the cursor into the body and it just returns the first page again every time. Ive tried so many workarounds, like using filters to get a date range of call reports or transcripts, but even the filters don’t work! It is driving me absolutely crazy! I’ve tried literally everything.
How can i export the smart tracker summary for a custom smart tracker to a text field in Salesforce? I do not see the ability to map that to a custom field in SF. Any Suggestions?
Hi, I’m trying to add a metric that i can use on a dashboard that show much how (what %) of total won deals were also created in quarter. Is there a why to add a period filter onto the metric builder? Is there a different way to get the numerator filtered on once date criteria, and the demonitor being on different date period.
Is there a way to view which users from your Gong team have listened to an individual call from the call page? We can see customer views through “shares and views,” and we can see which calls an individual has listened to in Team Insights/Gong Usage, but we’re looking for internal viewers from the call record.
We are changing our consent option to the pre-call email (because the audio prompt is incredibly disruptive on Teams). We’d like to include our logo, but Gong only allows for a URL apparently (vs. being able to upload). All of the logo fetching sites are using an outdated logo of ours. I’ve “reported problems” on them to try and upload our current logo. But can anyone tell me if they’ve had any luck working with Gong on just uploading a JPG file instead? Why does it have to be a URL?
For an internal assistant tool I am trying to retrieve all transcripts we have for specific people who I want to fetch by email address. I understand that get /v2/calls provides me with calls in a certain date range, and I could, in theory, then make a post /v2/calls/extensive to then go through the “parties” and then, based on the responses, go back to post /v2/calls/transcript to retrieve the transcript. But that seems like a lot of uncessary strain on the API. Is there a better way to get all IDs for all calls involving a person by email address?I checked the search and someone was trying something similar by Account, and that didn’t work. But yeah, maybe someone else has an idea?
Hey guys! Is there a way for gong to automatically fill scorecards ? or does it have to be completed manually ?
I’m trying to set up Whispers for Topics, and no matter how broad I set my filters, I still see “Not enough team members found”. Does anyone know why this is the case?
In HubSpot, when you sync Playbooks with Zoom, you can surface real-time suggestion prompts (e.g. call scripts, follow-up questions, objection handlers) directly within the Zoom interface during a live call.Does Gong offer a comparable capability?
Has anyone used the Co-Pilot and Gong integration yet? I have the integration set up but I am struggling to get Co-Pilot to answer the way it needs to. I am starting with the use case presented by Gong in which a rep can ask it questions around their day/ past demos etc. I am struggling as Co-Pilot is pulling so much information around dates and times they’ve mentioned in calls and such. I have tried to use the Database names from the API and phrasing a ton of ways, using co pilot to rephrase my phrase but can’t get it to do a simple review of past day etc. Basically, does any one have any tips on getting it work like the demonstration? I can ask about a very specific call in the time frame and it pulls it up so I know the data exists.
Hi all,Does anyone know when Forecast will allow AEs to select and auto calculate specific deals when submitting their forecast?I searched for an answer before posting.
Hello community! I want to grab all of the transcripts for a particular company. Ideally, the company name that is found on the call page. Which value in the extensive data would I filter on? Thanks!
While customers and prospects are associated in SFDC under one account, partners are working on various opps in other accounts. When capturing calls with partners, It’s more important that the calls would be associated to the relevant account and opp discussed in the call.Manually associating the calls is what we’re doing now, but is there a better way?
I have some completed flows but want to now add another step to sent an email to the same group of people. Is there a way to do that? Thank you!
Has anyone been able to get Teams Phone integrated with Gong? I’m not talking about Teams meetings, but just regular calls inbound/outbound using Microsoft Teams. I’ve had a ticket open with Gong for 2 months. Hoping someone from the community can at least validate that it works.Microsoft Teams PhoneWe get an error when running the Sync-CsOnlineApplicationInstance powershell command. Status: NoContent
As part of my team forecast process I’d like to see the teams full pipeline for the fiscal year (ideally grouped by quarter, but I’d settle for just full fiscal year). Currently our “Deals closing in” options are limited to months and quarters. Is there a way to turn on an option to show full fiscal year or enter a custom range?
I’m trying to figure out if it is possible to delineate different types of call activity within Engage. Use Case: We have three types of calls Sales Reps make. Prospecting Calls (generating new outbound business), Lead Follow-Up Calls (Following up on inbound leads), and Opportunity Follow-Up Calls (following up with active open opportunities. In Salesforce, we did this within a task by simply adding a Call Type Field. It doesn’t seem like there is any analog in Gong. The only options within Analytics is to filter by Flow activity, but in theory, any of these call types could be included in a Flow. The other recommendation I saw is to filter by account type (prospect vs. customer), but we sell to both prospects and customers (upsell/cross sell additional products)Is there any good way to actually delineate how many outbound prospecting activities a team of reps in doing?
Currently we have Gong, Zoom and SF integrated. Under settings/Salesforce Integration, we have the “Create Salesforce tasks when calls are processed” set to TRUE. When tasks are pushed into SF, the subject is prepended with Zoom: xxxxxxxx. I’d like to alter this subject line. Does anyone know of a config in Gong or Zoom that dictates this subject line of the task? Or is the solution to create automation in SF to update the subject?
Hey all,Wondering if anyone else is utilizing HubSpot Calling and is running into the following issue and may have found a solution? In HubSpot Calling, the call initiator is always Speaker 1 (Stereo Left), so depending on outbound/inbound it is our company employee, or a prospect/customer respectively. The Gong telephony integration setting needs to be set for the company employee to be either Stereo Left or Right. In our case we currently have it set to Stereo Left, and thus on all inbound calls, the roles on the transcripts are reversed, i.e. the transcript says our employee is speaking, but it’s actually the customer. This messes up all the call statistics of talk ratio, patience, etc. as well as trackers that are set to only track mentions by prospects. No solution currently seems to exists from Gong or HubSpot support.
We use Microsoft Outlook and have the Gong for Outlook add-in installed so we can generate dynamic links that meeting invitees use. This first routes to a Consent Page and then upon selection, into the Microsoft Teams Web Conference meeting. Is there a way to create a Hyperlink “on top” of the dynamically generated Gong link? I’ve tried but so far this has been unsuccessful. The dynamic URL that is generate looks unofficial (feedback from prospects and customers) and I confirmed with the Gong Support Team that you are unable to change the initial instance ID (the unique Gong instance ID generated during implementation) and that you can only change the company name and first name / last name options.
I use person accounts in Salesforce. I’ve found a few instances where the same person has multiple email addresses. When it goes to match the conversation to the account, it does a good job of matching the conversation to the account based on email address. But the conversations where they had used the alternate email on the calendar are not captured. Has anyone found an elegant way to accommodate multiple email addresses to keep all a person’s conversation together?
I wanted to try uploading recordings via Google drive, but when authorizing, I noticed a checkbox allowing access right before hitting connect. I left it unchecked by mistake, and now I get an error when attempting to access Google drive through Gong.Is there some way to reset the authorization, so I can probably give access, or am I cooked for all eternity?
Hi - Is there any capabilities to have an automatic drop of new call transcripts for a specific account into a google drive? Ia m building some custom GPTs that I want to train off of these.
Hi, I’m wondering how I can update my API permissions for a Gong Collective Integration? Right now, it’s just disabled in the UI.
