FOR GONG CUSTOMERS

Hi all, first day using Gong. I’m an SDR using Engage.I want to dial prospects on Fridays, regardless of their step in a flow.Is there any way to create ancillary call tasks in bulk, for prospects that are already in a flow?I thought of a workaround with a ruleset to make a non-exclusive dials-only flow I could enroll them in concurrently. But it’s too late, the original flow is set anyway, and I seem to lack the authority to create rulesets.Do I really have to go into each prospect record individually, just to create these tasks? Or should I just save time zone delineation by state in a contact view, and hammer down the column to dial them?It would be so much better to just be able to bulk-create tasks and THEN sort by TZ.

Are you using Gong Data Cloud with Snowflake?I’m exploring an MCP layer on top of Gong data, and I’m trying to additional real-world use cases.I’m not trying to replace Gong’s AI features. Gong Assistant, AI Briefer, Smart Trackers, scorecards, and related native workflows already cover a lot of in-product use cases. For example, a warehouse/MCP layer could help teams identify which topics, objections, call patterns, account segments, or risk signals are worth turning into Smart Trackers, briefs, scorecards, or other structured Gong workflows. That feels useful because teams may need to be selective about what they configure, monitor, and operationalize inside Gong.A few questions:What Gong data do you actually query in Snowflake? What do you join it with? What questions are hard to answer in Gong itself but easier in the warehouse? Have you used warehouse analysis to decide what to configure back inside Gong?

Hi there,Is there a way to personalize our Gong dialer voicemail greeting? It’s a very generic, robotic message that could lead the prospect to think they have dialled the wrong number.

Is there a way to set up Dialer to notify the person you are calling that it is being recorded? Right now it reminds our reps to let the contact know the call is being recorded, but we would rather have it be an automatic notification rather than relying on the rep.

Is anyone able to link activities (calls, emails, meetings booked) to campaigns -vs- accounts/ opportunities/ contacts in Salesforce? Our events team is hoping to tag flows/ outbound efforts back to show activity metrics and outcomes. I know we can manually change the related field in SF, but hoping for a config/ automated option. Thanks! 

We have a number of different account record types:Client (roughly 100) Client Subgroup (multiple thousands) Vendor Potential ClientBut, we only want to import and be able to automatically associate to the Client and Potential Client account record types. When searching in Gong, ALL of our accounts pop up, including some with potential confusing naming conventions without the rest of the record context like you’d have when searching Salesforce. Is there a way to filter which accounts get brought into Gong? None of the default CRM Settings seem intuitive to be able to do this.Thanks in advance!

Hi Gong team,I've set up a Call brief in Agent Studio (AI Briefer) and it works great in the UI. I'd like to be able to retrieve the brief output programmatically via API.I noticed the existing GET /v2/entities/get-brief endpoint is built specifically for CRM entities (Account, Deal, Contact, Lead), so it doesn't cover Call briefs. Is there a plan to add a dedicated API endpoint for retrieving Call brief results?I found a community post from ~5 months ago where a Gong support rep mentioned the relevant endpoints are "currently in alpha" — is that still the case, and is there an ETA for public availability?Thank you!

I have brought Gong (web app on laptop) into in-person meetings so that the meeting is recorded. I’m not so much fussed on the video but have recorded the audio. The challenge is however is that there’s only one device in the room (my laptop) so 100% of the audio is attributed to me. Is there any best practice on associating individuals and what they’re saying to specific parts of the audio? I wondered whether there could be some sort of ‘calibration’ at the beginning of the meeting (verbal introductions by each participant) so that speech recognition during the meeting could associate the audio with the correct participant? 

This is a fun tip I learned at a Gong fireside chat. At the deal level you can ask Gong AI “why will we lose this deal?” The AI will break out all gaps and missing pieces in your opp. Now your rep can use this intel to go back to the prospect with the right messaging to fill the gaps and win the deal. I want to use theme spotter to identify the top industry terms and acronyms used on customer calls.  I want this information to help with my onboarding of new BDRs and sellers that don’t have industry experience.    It looks like there are only specific questions I can choose in theme spotter vs creating my own.  Is that really the case or is this operator error?   Admittedly I am a novice WRT theme spotter.   Any guidance here is appreciated.  Thanks, Joe!

Is there any way to track email data by using key words in AI Theme Spotter / ‘Ask AI’ in the Conversations tab? It seems like you can only track key words in calls for both and not emails. If you were able to track key words in emails somewhere then that would be amazing. Would love to be able to track email responses from flows by using key words. Thanks!

We use Zoom Phone for nearly all of our phone calls, and we are finding that call attempts and shorter recordings are not consistently getting to either gong or our CRM (Salesforce).  We see maybe 1 out of 3 in Salesforce.We are stumped.  We were wondering if anyone else had seen this behavior and already solved for it.  Thanks!

Hi!So I’ve just set up an AI Scorecard and enabled automatic review. I have published the AI scorecard and would now like to let the AI scorecard review past calls. I’ve searched through the help center but can’t seem to find how this is done.When I go to the conversations search and I select a recording for which the AI scorecard should automatically be applied to, I can’t even select the scorecard on the right panel. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. My end goal is that I have multiple AI scorecards and that based on the call type, these recordings are automatically scored. I then want to create a folder (stream) with best recording of each meeting type. These recordings should automatically be added to the library based on the score. I thought this is possible but not sure how to continue. Does someone has experience with this?

I lead sales for a team of 8 AEs - we’ve been using Gong forecast for 2 months now.  Every Monday morning, AEs update their forecast.  We have 3 “forecast categories” (Commit / Maybe / Surprise) They update / enter a new forecast number for each category. AKA they tell me every week how much they expect to close that month from each bucket (Commit / Maybe / Surprise).  Throughout the month, deals obviously move from Maybe to Commit / Commit to Win / etc.  The “Accuracy” report hasn’t proven useful based on how I’ve been having the team use Forecast. I think I may need a cumulative forecast field / not discrete forecasts for each category.  What tweaks should we implement to make “Accuracy” a useful report? Thanks!

Hello Gong Community!  LOVE gong scorecards!  and the SFDC integration works beautifully.  Here is the problem we are trying to solve.  An opportunity says do not record this call.  So you turn off Gong and recording.  We use Zoom, it has has an AI companion but this is also considered a “recording”  Other than taking copious notes and then completing the scorecard fields manually, has anyone out there solved this?  My company has a robust set of AI tools and I am not opposed to creating an agent that can help.  Suggestions?

I am looking for a way to report from a macro perspective on calls that were shared/listened to externally. I have a theory that calls with post-demo engagement have higher win rates and quicker deal velocity. I’d like to see if I can prove it with data. For example, we perform 1000’s of demos with our PreSales Solution Consultants and I am using the conversation filter to narrow down to our PreSales teams. There is no filter or data point available for call recordings generated to view. I’d like to add a data point to see if calls were shared and watched.  I am not an admin so not sure if that is a capability there. Wondering if this is possible at all? Thank you for any help!  To be clear, I am referencing the “share with customers” part of this and I feel like i used to have reporting capabilities on this, but cannot find it anymore. Hence the question :) 

We turned on AI scoring in our Gong account recently, but the scorecards that are being answered by Gong AI are not surfacing via the API. I am using the v2/stats/activity/scorecards endpoint and only filtering on the call date, but not seeing all the expected scorecards.Are there plans to add these scorecards to the API? And if so, when is that expected to happen?
