I need to turn off the pre-call email that sends to a customer 10 mins before a call. I found this page: https://help.gong.io/docs/enable-pre-call-emails Can I do this as a non-admin and per customer? I can’t find “company settings” does company mean per customer settings? Thanks!
hey,i have an issue with the View upcoming calls button. It suddenly stopped working for users with different roles, and we cannot find out what happened (on Monday worked perfectly, and yesterday not anymore). Now nothing happened when clicked.Have you experienced similar thing?
When using the Gong auto-generated recap email, the email displays horizontally in the customer's inbox instead of the intended vertical format. The email is sent from Gmail and is automatically logged to Salesforce via an API integration. This formatting issue may be due to either the email formatting within Gong, the Gmail client rendering, or a conflict in the way the email is processed through the API. The issue affects the visual appearance of the email, potentially causing a poor user experience for the recipient
Hi Community! One of my favorite things about Gong is the ability to search conversations across my business to learn more about how various teams describe our own products, features, and services, especially when there's a gap in my knowledge base or our own documentation and I'm trying to explain something to a customer. Within a particular conversation, I can use the ask anything feature to summarize or define a particular topic. I'm curious if there will be an ability to use the ask anything feature across all calls using the same filters available for the search as it exists today?
Hi there,I'm trying to extract my CRM (salesforce) related data from gong using the APIs. I have connected my salesforce account to my Gong sandbox environment. The endpoint that I found in the API documentation to get CRM related entities is ‘/crm/entities’. This endpoint expects me to pass integrationID as a parameter to the GET request. I need to know where and how can I get this integration ID. The API documentation says this ID is generated when the integration is done but I couldn't find anywhere on confirmation page nor have I received any emails regarding the same.
We are developers of b2b SaaS application, and we are not Gong customers. But our users would like to integrate their Gong account into our system, and we would like to use Gong’s API. Our clients have requested integration with their Gong account to get meetings minutes. How can I create a developer account to start working on an integration with Gong API without access to the customer account?I was trying https://app.gong.io/welcome/developer/sign-up , but after the form submission nothing happens and it just reloading page.Probably the error message - dev.partner.onboarding.invalid.corporate.email What should we do to become dev partner, is described scenario is appropriate or we can not integrate our application with your API?
Hi All,I have a situation where Talk Ratio saying no data for one specific sales rep even though there is data and the sales rep has spoken! I have included screenshots to show what I am seeing.
Our implementation team is also using Gong. This helps them prepare for the kick-off (along with the knowledge transfer process from the AE). They also use Gong to record all their implementation calls and management gets visibility into progress and the discussions when necessary. We’re looking to create a couple of trackers to identify clients with strongly positive, or concerningly negative sentiment during the implementation process. The negative sentiment will serve as a very early warning system so we can help our team get ahead of any challenges. Has anyone used trackers in this way? Any examples you can share? Any concerns?
Would love access to a dial pad for one off calls!
When you set up the ‘Gong for Salesforce’ app, you might notice the “Repush historical call data to Salesforce” option. If the option is greyed out, it means there are already conversations in your Salesforce instance. If you were previously connected to a Salesforce sandbox, you’ll want to select this option to repush the call data to your production environment. However, if you have never connected to a Salesforce sandbox, you can ignore this and simply check the “Push call data to Salesforce” option. Then select a date in the past from which you’d like to start pushing call data.Want to learn more? Check out our help article, here.
Hello All, There are some really interesting possibilities with “ask Anything” as part of call spotlight. Outside of some of the obvious things, I am curious how people see this as a coaching tool or a way to prep prospects for the next call. I have been experimenting with questions like:what could (insert sellers name) done better on this call? what questions should the prospect come prepared with for the next meeting then sharing that info in a follow-up to really drive home the personalization and set the stage for the next call What else do you think? I would love to get thoughts from other sales leaders or sellers. Heck, anyone for that matter. How does Gong use this internally?
I’m currently using the Gong API (v2/calls/transcript) to retrieve call transcripts, and each transcript entry lists speakerId. For better readability and ease of integration, we would prefer to retrieve the actual speaker names or emails instead of just speakerId values. Is there an option in the Gong API to directly return speaker names or emails? Or, is there an endpoint available that allows us to map speakerId values to corresponding names or emails? I’d appreciate any insights. Thanks
When using the calls API to retrieve the records, I received an error code 400 with the error stating ‘cursor has expired’. This happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. What are the possibilities that cause the cursor to expire? Does it have a time limit?
I have problems with configuring Gong into salesforce. it through me an error when open it in the Account object I have a problem with this step Step 2: Use the authorization code flowI don't know how to follow it … appreciate your help
I would like to watch a recording and see the reaction of participants who might not be speaking. Gong recordings only provide the speaker view from what I can tell. Is there a way to see the participant grid view while watching a recording?
We recently switched to HubSpot a couple of weeks ago and noticed there’s no option in the Gong UI to push historical call details (like Call Brief, Key Points, and Next Steps) into our CRM.Has anyone ran across a scenario where they wanted that data and how did you go about getting that information added to Hubspot to actually be useful? Here’s what we’re looking for:Pulling historical highlights (Call Brief, Key Points, Next Steps) into HubSpot and mapping them to the right contacts, companies, or deals.
Hey all, we’ve recently rolled out Gong Engage for our prospecting efforts, and in a flow, we would like to be able to reply to a previous email, but edit the subject line (IE initial email’s SL is “connecting some dots” and a subsequent email would be edited to “following up - connecting some dots”, and so on). I’m not seeing where to do that in Engage, but was wondering if I’m missing it somewhere? Conor
I am not sure if this is an available feature and I am just missing it, but is there a way to download transcripts from calls that only feature specific types of data? For instance, I am trying to download transcript data from calls where a specific competitor was mentioned. Is that something that can be done through a Tracker, Stream, etc.? Thank you in advance!
Is there a report or way to see which flows a person is in. I can go to the people tab and see they are in a flow but it doesn’t tell me which ones specifically.
The file referenced in the downloadMediaUrl in the /v2/calls endpoint has an upload limit of 1.5GB. It works fine for telephony calls, but practically speaking this is pretty small for high res long conference calls. We help a lot of Gong customers migrate calls from other products, and spend a lot of time compressing media files to fit within the 1.5GB limit. Is there a way to increase the limit, if not for all calls could we log a ticket to have it increased for a specific customer for a limited period of time to help migrations?
I’m using Flows in Gong Engage, and I have two auto emails scheduled to be sent. One was set to be sent one business day from the previous step (a call), and the next email was supposed to be sent 3 business days after that. However, Gong sent both of these emails at the same time. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks.
I’m currently working on a project that has an objective to identify slides/content during meetings that resonate or create thought provoking questions from clients. I’m interested to hear of any strategies or examples to where this has been achieved. Thanks!
The app returned "Internal Server Error". Getting this when trying to run a Zap when a call is completed, all the testing works fine in Zapier but I get this when trying to turn it on - does anyone have any ideas?
My team is getting pretty heavy in the use huddles in slack, but we noticed that Gong notetaker is not coming to the call. Is this a supported feature?
I am getting an error in the Gong for Salesforce API iFrame. See image below.
