Greetings,I would like to know if it's possible and if there is any kind of procedure about the update of the Salesforce User currently logged in Gong which is uses for the Data Synch. We would like to change it with another Salesforce User (we have a specific data integration user) and if this kind of change may bring a data error or missing between the user change.RegardsSergio
We're wondering if it's possible to set up an automated email to go out through Gong's email editor to a prospect once a demo call has been completed by a specific user. We'd like to know if this is possible through the Gong software directly or if that isn't possible, through the Salesloft integration and/or the SFDC integrationComments from our CSM were: At this time Gong does not send out auto-emails. I'm not aware of any other software that does this and is triggered immediately after a call in a certain stage. Here at Gong if we are ever sending out auto emails I believe we typically send through Gainsight however the trigger isn't based on a stage of an opportunity but just a customer list. If this isn’t possible through Gong, what strategies have you used to automate emails to prospects?
Hi there, we recently set up an integration so our users can connect to Gong to fetch their calls in our platform. However this only works for technical admins. Is there any documentation around how to enable this for other Permission Profiles or is it that only technical admins are allowed to use the Gong API?
Hi! We have some mutual customers who are requesting a Gong integration. We’re not Gong customers (we don’t have a sales process that requires it), but we need a sandbox account to test the integration. The Integration Partner guide seems to require having an existing Gong account; is it possible to get a sandbox account without being a customer, to build for mutual customers?
Hi! Many of the sales messages I do are though LinkedIn and Whatsapp which I log into Hubspot but they are not reflected in Deals Pipeline. Any trick? Should be this a feature request?
We are using Gong to send users calls and emails back to the accounts they are working on. We also practice a sales methodology supported by the Korn Ferry sell app. I would like to take a look at automating our KF sell app through Gong activity, however, they are not currently capable of integrating with many of our other sales tools. Looking for creative solutions!
Hi there,I was wondering if i could filter out the Login event-logs using Auditing API of gong to get the logins of al the user in my organization . I tried using AccessLogs as event-type but it has long list of logs including logins and i couldn’t find a way to filter only login eventlogs. can someone please help me getting the login event logs or is there any filter to do it .Thanks
Is there any benefit to using Read-Only integration vs Gong for Salesforce Managed Package? From what I’ve read, Managed Package has all the advantages. Is there any reason not to install it? What is the best way to train sales leaders and reps how to use Gong for Salesforce Managed Package after it is installed?
Hello,We have Gong integrated with Salesforce and I wanted to know if we can sync in Salesforce which are the call invitees and participants in the Event that is created in Salesforce related to that call.Thank you,
Hey there!I have ~50 interactions where the Call participant ID is not being pushed over from Gong to Salesforce.Looking to make reports in there for total duration of customer facing calls each sales representative is on, but these ones just won’t pull in for some reasonI’m able to click through to them though and see that there is a recording existing in Gong, so its strange that its not syncing like the rest of the ones we haveAdditionally, does anyone know what metrics would be best used to track if multiple internal people were on a call? It seems to just be defaulting and rolling up to one of them

Does anyone use Gong to connect with Salesforce person accounts. I’m having issues connecting conversations to Person Accounts. Anyone have experiences to share?
Hi there - I have 2 accounts (and each with their own opportunity), and am seeing an email communication with a contact at one account is showing up on the activity timeline for both accounts. I’ve checked salesforce to confirm that the contact is only related to a single account. Is there a way to manually unassociate this contact and activity from the incorrect account in Gong? thanks!
We record calls using predominantly Zoom, but also Google Meet. Is there a way for reps to take notes during calls and to push these into HubSpot? To add another layer, if that call is a Discovery call can reps take notes in accordance to MEDDPICC? Looking for a smart way to get all that into HubSpot. Thanks
Wanted to see if there are any recommendations for telephony systems that integrate with Gong. Specifically, I am looking for a system that would Integrate with Salesforce Track outbound and inbound calls and texts Be a separate number per repI know I am asking for a unicorn here, but thought I’d ask to see if the community has any recommendations.
I would like to select a regional team and view all customer meetings as a shared calendar. This would help with researchers/stakeholders joining who may not yet be invited. When I subscribe to users calendars in Google Calendar I can see all meetings.I would like to have a calendar that shows me only meetings that the Notetaker is also joining. .ics file or url would suffice.
Our integration with Crayon gives sales and success teams valuable competitive insights in the context of when they need it most. It’ll take customer interactions that mention competitors within Gong, and directly connect it to Crayon’s sales deliverables. This ensures reps have the right information at the right time to combat any competitor mention in a deal quickly and easily. Check out what this integration can do to help combat competitive objections only on Gong Collective
Hi all, we are having an issue with our MS Teams integration with GONG. As MS Teams does not provide a personalized link for users and creates a new meeting link every meeting we needed to use a workaround. The Setup:We created a meeting in Outlook and copied this meeting link into the personalized GONG link section (that was the suggestion in our onboarding) The Problem: The participants of the meeting “stay” connected to the meeting and receive all the future chat messages FROM OTHER CUSTOMER MEETINGS, if we don't manually throw them out of the meeting. → HUGE security/compliance issue. Do you guys also experience this issue with the MS Teams integration? How do you use GONG in combination with MS Teams so this doesn’t occur?Looking forward to your feedback. BestMichael
Our team would prefer to have Gong bot as a participant on recordings but we are using the native Zoom recording integration. Is it possible to still have Notetaker appear on the call?
Hey guys, does anyone know how often Gong/Salesforce sync? We had an opportunity close but in Gong it was in pipeline for a few hours after the fact.
Hi, We have Gong setup to create a Salesforce task when a Gong/Zoom call is completed. The problem is if there are multiple contacts from the prospect company on the call then it creates a task for each person. This skews reporting and shows us as having completed more meetings than we actually have. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hey all!I see that I am able to search accounts and see activity history in Gong (provided via SFDC) but I am not seeing any Gong documentation on these features. Would love to see some!
A contact was incorrectly assigned to an account in salesforce, so all gong activity is shown under the wrong account name. I have fixed this in salesforce so now the contact is attributed to the correct account, however gong still shows the activity for this contact under the incorrect account. Will this automatically fix in gong (say, by way of a daily sync), or is there a manual way to fix? Thanks.
We’re loving our Salesforce Gong integration thus far! We love seeing call details and timelines on our Opportunities and Accounts but we are struggling to see the same on our Lead and Contact objects. On our Opportunity object records we have Gong Conversations as a related list item when can then be opened to see the call timeline and further call details. On our Lead object records we have Gong Related Leads as a related list item that only shows up the title of the call and when the call took place.Does anyone know how we can get the same Gong Conversations view that we have on our Opportunity records on our Lead records?
