Can I filter by a field not being empty vs a specific value?

I’m creating a deal board for more complex deals that require executive sponsorship. The way this is indicated is by whether or not a rep fills out an open-text field “Additional Support Needed by ELT” explaining what they specifically need help on/what makes it a complex deal (Example: Prospect sent us an NDA that potentially exposes us to x,y,z--need legal team review). Because each of these values will be unique, is there any value I can put in the filter that is essentially Additional Support Required = Not empty/is known/Not Blank?

For example, one use case would be to understand the most common objections from one specific team over the course of the last 3 months. Gong and Microsoft Teams

Hi -I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following questions about Microsoft 365 Bookings, Teams and Gong.I tried my first Gong call today and I ran into some confusion about how to join the call. Should I be clicking on the Teams Join button or the gong personal consent url? Teams InviteAlso - I was wondering if anyone is using Microsoft Bookings with Gong.I discovered Bookings about a month ago and LOVE it as an alternative to Calendly.I have a Bookings page but do not know how to integrate the page with Gong. Should I be adding assitant@gong.io to all of the meetings?

Text expansion snippets and copying and pasting stopped working

I use Raycast for text expansion snippets in a number of applications, including when noting my tasks in Gong Engage (for clarity, these are not related to anything Gong calls snippets). One day a coworker said he can no longer copy and paste things from Salesforce to Gong. I checked and I cannot either. However, I can copy and paste it into a text file and then copy and paste it into Gong. My text expansion snippets from Raycast also stopped working in Gong, although they still work in Salesforce and every other application.  Being that the issues are only in the Gong windows (either the Gong Engage page or the Gong Sidebar) and no other applications, and being that it also began on the same day for a coworker who is also on a macbook air but in a separate location, I have to assume the issue comes from a change in Gong. Has anyone else experienced this or found a solution?  Thank you.  Edit: Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Has anyone created sentiment trackers to identify ecstatic as well as frustrated clients?

Our implementation team is also using Gong. This helps them prepare for the kick-off (along with the knowledge transfer process from the AE).  They also use Gong to record all their implementation calls and management gets visibility into progress and the discussions when necessary. We’re looking to create a couple of trackers to identify clients with strongly positive, or concerningly negative sentiment during the implementation process.  The negative sentiment will serve as a very early warning system so we can help our team get ahead of any challenges. Has anyone used trackers in this way? Any examples you can share?  Any concerns?

Can the Gong API Return Speaker Names/Email Instead of Speaker IDs in Transcripts?

I’m currently using the Gong API (v2/calls/transcript) to retrieve call transcripts, and each transcript entry lists speakerId. For better readability and ease of integration, we would prefer to retrieve the actual speaker names or emails instead of just speakerId values.Is there an option in the Gong API to directly return speaker names or emails? Or, is there an endpoint available that allows us to map speakerId values to corresponding names or emails?  I’d appreciate any insights.Thanks

Crm API uploading accounts

Hi there!I’ve been tasked with integrating our Zoho CRM with Gong to make the most of the account link feature. Using the documentation, I’ve successfully uploaded an Account entity via Postman using an LDJson file. When I check the request status via GET /v2/crm/requeststatus using my request ID, I get a response of "totalSuccessCount": 1.However, I can’t see the account in the Gong UI. Additionally, when I make the following API call:GET https://api.gong.io/v2/crm/entities?integrationId=XXXXXX&objectType=ACCOUNT and pass in the same objectID used in the LDJson file, the response contains a null object.Questions:Are there any configuration steps I might have missed that could prevent the account from appearing in the Gong UI? Are there debugging methods or logs available to trace why the account isn't visible? Is there a delay between a successful upload and when the account appears in the UI? Does Gong require any specific fields or data structures in the LDJson that could impact

Cursor has expired error

When using the calls API to retrieve the records, I received an error code 400 with the error stating ‘cursor has expired’. This happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. What are the possibilities that cause the cursor to expire? Does it have a time limit?

Is there a way to watch recordings with the grid view?

I would like to watch a recording and see the reaction of participants who might not be speaking. Gong recordings only provide the speaker view from what I can tell. Is there a way to see the participant grid view while watching a recording?

Pushing Historical Call Highlights from Gong to HubSpot

We recently switched to HubSpot a couple of weeks ago and noticed there’s no option in the Gong UI to push historical call details (like Call Brief, Key Points, and Next Steps) into our CRM.Has anyone ran across a scenario where they wanted that data and how did you go about getting that information added to Hubspot to actually be useful?Here’s what we’re looking for:Pulling historical highlights (Call Brief, Key Points, Next Steps) into HubSpot and mapping them to the right contacts, companies, or deals.

One manager- Two Teams

We are setting up our Forecast and we have one manager who oversees SMB and MM we’d like for these to be separate for multiple reasons as of now they are all under that managers team. Is there a way to create teams without having it roll up to a manager or another work around? Thank you for your help in advance!

Subscribe to transcripts via API?

Hello Gong!We’d like to develop an integration with Gong that would allow us to fact check transcripts against our product documentation library via our product, LemonadeLXP.  For this, we’d need to be notified that a new transcript is available after the call concludes. Is there a webhook available so that we can subscribe to call events? Polling, conversely, would seem ‘expensive’. In the end, we want something similar to what the Slack integration does; save that rather for posting to Slack as the call concludes, we want it on our web hooks so that we can process.  They don’t poll, do they? Thank you!Alex

Gong Salesforce Object - Structure/Agenda

I was looking at some of the Custom Objects in Salesforce related to Gong and I saw one called Structure with an API name of Gong__Agenda__c but I cannot find any documentation on what it is or what it’s meant to house. Really the only reference to it I can locate is this: https://help.gong.io/docs/data-model-structure Is this something anyone uses? Was it deprecated? Thanks!

View all team members, regardless of heirarchy

I feel like I must be missing something… I’m an admin and want to see data/stats (on the Insights > Team page and elsewhere) for my entire organization - not by team, not having to select individual teams or users, I just want an option to see EVERYONE. Or at least to have a quick “select all” option so I don’t have to click team-by-team, one-by-one to add everyone. Am I missing something? We’re integrated with SF for most users, so the manager attribute is coming from there, but others are manually added (i.e. those without an SF account). I would think I could select our CEO’s team and that would include all cascading members below, but it doesn’t. I just want an easy way to look at everything at once. Ideas?

Tab Totals not working in Deal boards

My deal boards are working but the totals for the opportunity stages are showing all zeros with the exception of the total.   Any suggestions as to how I can get the totals to appear?   Screenshot attached.   Thanks, Joe

Cold Calling Flow?

Hi all,I’m curious how others are leveraging Gong Engage to manage SDR/BDR/AE cold calling efforts.  Of course I’ve added some Call steps to flows that include LinkedIn and email steps, but I would like to be able to segment out prospects for specific cold calling efforts before adding them to email-based flows.Any thoughts/suggestions?Thanks!Patrick

How to track filler words by team member over time?

Some feedback I got during my performance review was to try to cut back on filler words in my customer calls. I’d love to use Gong to track my progress on the journey to stop using filler words and also to attach some metrics to work against. Has anyone tried to do this in the past? I figure someone probably has a great report/tracker search string I could rip off rather than reinventing the wheel.  In my mind I’d have two views: Team view: Name on the Y axis and volume of filler words on the X axis Individual view: Different filler words on the Y axis and the count (or better yet, the percentage of total words) on the X axisThank you!!

How can a team member see my personal flow in Gong Engage

I’ve set my Gong personal flow in Engage to ‘visible’ which indicates other members should be able to use it.However, I don’t see how I could go about adding a contact to someone else’s flow so not sure how they could use my flow? Currently my company has blocked me from adding to the ‘company flows’

Deal Board without Opportunity or Closing Date in Salesforce

Good morning, I’m new to Gong, and working my way through the training resources. I love the Deal-Board insights, but I’m trying to find a way to customize it to show new-business prospects, that don’t have an associated opportunity or closing date in Salesforce. Does anyone have experience with this, or will I need to force a “dummy” field in Salesforce in order to have it show in the Gong Deals?Thanks for your help.

Retrieve call transcript through API using python

Hi! I'm new to Gong and I'm trying to use python and the API to retrieve our available data.I managed to get basic information on the calls iterating through https://api.gong.io/v2/calls, using the request package. Now I want to get all of the call's transcripts and details and I can't seem to manage.This is what I've tried:url = 'https://api.gong.io/v2/calls/transcript?callIds=<CALL_ID>'requests.get(url, auth=(<ACCESS_KEY>, <GONG_SECRET_KEY>)).json()this throws this error:{'requestId': <REQUEST_ID>, 'errors': ['Bad request']}Could you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?Thank you!

Micro Insights for Email Marketing

Good morning, all.  I’m relatively new to gong, and our company is heavy on email marketing, especially in the early stages.
