Does anyone know how I can get Gong to automatically put the call spotlight, including next steps and action items into a meeting record in Hubspot?
We don’t need to update all related Salesforce event records. Nor do we need to sync all the Gong data into Salesforce. We just need to update the related Salesforce event as to the duration of the meeting. Does Gong have out of the box configuration that can do this? Or is an api call required? Thanks
We use Gong with HubSpot. Often times when reviewing the No Activity (no comms within 14 days) column within Drivers, the rep had actually spoken to the prospect within the past few days. It appears the discrepancy almost always occurs when there are multiple product lines we sell, and a different rep might be speaking with someone else at that same company based on a different deal. There might be no way around that, but I’d love to figure out getting those percentages to be as accurate as possible. i.e. Product rep will show 12% of deals have no activity within 14 days, but every one of those deals does have comms within that time frame.Anyone have some best practices on ensuring accuracy?
Hello community, I’m curious to learn how different Gong users have approached the questions of measuring a Saas Account Executive’s overall activity? Is there a good an easy way to do it which would correlate with actual sales performance? Thank you!Heikki
Currently on a team that uses Fathom and is switching to Gong. The BEST feature fathom has, is it’s demo note summary. You click on sales (my role, but there are others), and it pulls together this summary. it is critical for my role and remembering everything important during the demo. As is, it is better than Gong’s summary/highlight area by a mile. Here’s an example down below of a Fathom note summary. (I redacted as much personal information as I deemed necessary, but they are not redacted when getting the summary). As you can see, this is clear, concise, has a flow to it. It’s a pretty amazing summary tool. I really need this to be in Gong better than the current. The highlights are short, and the summary has no set flow, and is written out way too long and not sectioned as well as Fathom. For the record, I really like Gong. But Fathom’s demo summary is vastly superior at the moment.Thank you for any and all insight! Deal InformationProspect:[REDACTED], a real estate agent looking
To whom it may concern: My team would like to export all of our Gong recordings before our contract and licenses expire, however - considering how large video files typically are - I’d imagine we have TBs and TBs worth of video files and none of us have the ability to download these and save them locally. That said, is there a way to export all of our recordings directly to our company Google Drive? At least this way we can spare ourselves the headache of trying to download these, save them locally (if we have space), and then upload them to Google Drive. Thanks,Tim
QQ - why would the monthly total of scorecards be different for a manager when viewed under the Coaching Metrics tab or the Insights tab? What is the difference in what is reported in each tab?
Will the Gong plugin work when added as a participant to a client's Microsoft Teams call vs. Zoom?
@Or Farber , Senior Product Manager Analytics at Gong, presented a comprehensive and exciting vision for the Gong Data Cloud, an exciting new offering that gives customers a unified data model to utilize Gong data to its full potential and get from data to insights quickly. As a Gong partner that works with so many Gong customers' data, I’m excited about the data acquisition time and cost savings the Gong Data Cloud will provide. So often we all find the data acquisition and preparation time takes away from valuable data analysis time. Highlights: Without the Gong Data Cloud, there are various options, each their pros and cons, to extract Gong data including/: CSV (easy but manual, partial data) API (technical, partial data) Gong for Salesforce (automated, out of the box reports, partial data) Export data to HubSpot (automated, partial data) Gong Data Cloud is the answer! Hi, I need to tag another member of my organization for feedback on a topic discussed on a call, but don’t know how to do it, can you please help? Thanks,
Hi Everyone! I’m a Sales Enablement Manager working with our global BDR team including BDRs in EMEA and AMER. We are focused on cold calling and are trying to find creative ways to use Gong to support enablement. Due to privacy regulations in the various locations, we are unable to record the prospects side of the conversation. Curious to know, how is everyone using Gong for cold call coaching when the prospects side of the conversation is not being captured? I appreciate the insight in advance 🙂
Hello world,I’m very new to Gong and there’s a lot of interest from leadership. I’m wondering if anyone can give me a couple quick wins on running any reporting that would be presentable to c-level. (We’re still waiting on initiative dashboards and such) I want to provide some baseline for our new journey into the world of Gong. :)Thanks,
Hi there,I’m trying to use the API to capture the Call Spotlight information (Call Brief, Next Steps, etc) when a call recording is ready using the Gong API (specifically the /v2/calls/extensive endpoint) so I can bring that information into our CRM.It worked well when I was backdating for prior calls, but when I’m triggering the automation off of a recording it seems the spotlight information isn’t ready yet - sometimes taking 3+ hours before I’m able to run the call successfully. Is there a way to trigger the system to generate the spotlight when I need it outside of accessing the call recording manually, or a consistent time I can use to wait before attempting to access the spotlight data so I can avoid wasting API calls? Thanks!
Hi all - We are natively integrated with Zoom as our preferred conferencing solution. Recording works great but I recently tried setting up a call via Gong (using the Gong plug in via outlook) and including a conference room. I was unable to / didn’t have the option to join the meeting via our conference room tablet. What is the best way to have calls recorded that are in a conference room? Our standard conference room equipment is: Logitech Rally Bar Mini & Tap IPLogitech Rally Plus & Logitech RoomMate & Tap IP And they are all setup as ZoomRooms Any thoughts on how to join a zoom call that is being recorded in via Gong from a conference room? Thank you!
All, we are focused on building out trackers in Gong regarding our 3 main enablement behaviors we are looking to develop. Would love to see what y’all have built for trackers focused on:Multi-threading Champions Identifying Developing Testing Identified Pain Categories of Pain Identifying Pain Implicating Pain
We have two SFDC instances with different BUs using a single Gong instance, can we connect these two SFDC instances to a single Gong instance for integration capabilities?
I love the feature that reads along with the transcript, but is there any way of darkening or changing the color of the shaded transcript that’s being spoken? Sometimes my eyes have trouble seeing the highlighted area. My eyes aren’t as good as they used to me. This might just be a “me” problem.
I know Gong is paying attention to the need to track non-recorded meetings, as seen here: VIEW MEETINGS WITHOUT SCHEDULED RECORDINGSI’m wondering if there’s a way to push those meetings into Salesforce as Tasks so that we can have full insight into our team’s contact with clients. Thanks!
Hi, I'm attempting to retrieve Gong call transcripts by sending a GET request to the following endpoint: https://api.gong.io/v2/calls/transcript. However, I consistently encounter a 404 error or 'not found' response. I've been able to successfully retrieve Gong calls using this endpoint: https://api.gong.io/v2/calls. Could you please provide documentation or suggest a specific endpoint for accessing call transcripts?"These changes aim to enhance the overall structure and flow of your message
Can anyone explain why one would use call categories vs call libraries? Now with the ‘stream’ capabilities, it feels like the exact same thing, but one shows in the form of ‘folders’ and the other in form of ‘reports’ -- both can be automated based on filters and both can send notifications when a new call meets the criteria… Thanks
Is it possible to export the transcript of a call to a spreadsheet? I am wanting columns with Time, Speaker, and Transcribed Audio.
Right now, I can see how many calls a rep or manager has listened to, but since clicking on a call and it playing counts as “1” it’s not a very representative number. Instead, it would be great to see how long (in minutes) reps have spent listening to their own calls or teammate calls.
For some reason when I ran the sync between Salesforce and Gong, the to-dos I create in Gong are not populating in Salesforce. I created all of the fields required for tasks and activities in Salesforce per the Gong docs instructions, and I see the integration is supposedly working on the Gong side, but I am not seeing any new tasks or activities in Salesforce.
The AI in Call Spotlight is quite remarkable and accurate. I find myself going in Spotlight on quite a few calls to ask a specific question and the results are insanely quick and helpful Is there a way to customize Gong to automatically ask a specific question to bubble up this information without having to type the same query each time? (The AI generated questions are not the right ones for me; but I’d settle for my question to be in that list that I could just click on)
Gong does not recognize the name of our company, “Accelo”. It often cites in transcripts “excel” or “a cell o”. I’m curious if we can teach Gong AI to recognize a new word? Thanks,Siobhan
