A Zoom meeting is scheduled by a host/organizer who doesn't join the meeting, will that call recording appear in Gong?Yes, it will!If the host doesn't join the call but another recorded team member does, Gong will record. However,  it will appear in Gong under the participant's name. For example:

We're out there hunting down the competition like a pack of wolves, using Gong filters to analyze sales metrics and capture winning competitor mentions. 🏈 And when it comes to training our reps and managers, we're using the scorecards and best-scored calls as the curriculum

Our company is driving some of the industry best promotions, but it is sometimes difficult to get sellers on board with positioning these promotions. I personally run week-over-over progress meetings on mentions of the promotions that we have highlighted for the week / month. I do this by creating a very specific tracker that will pick up a couple of key words. I double check the trackers against current conversations to ensure that I am picking up the right words and to limit false positives / negatives. To take this a step further, I have a weekly meeting with my sales reps. We will listen to a handful of calls, as a team, to help everyone with their talk track around the specific promotion. This allows the sellers, and I see a much higher adoption rate for any of these promotions!

Are there Deals you don't see on your Forecast Board?  Check your Deals tab! All the data on your Forecast Board comes from your Deal Board. With that said, if the deal information is inaccurate or missing on your Forecast Board, it is most likely inaccurate or missing on your Deal Board as well! Reach out to the Support Team to determine why you may have inaccurate or missing data.  Check out your filters if you see a deal on your forecasting board but not on your deal board (and vice versa)! The filters may block the deal from making it to the board! 

I have a number of saved searches. (see attached).  If I go to this list, and I want to see the criteria I have set for a specific search, how can I do so?   The edit pencil allows me to change the name but I don’t see where I can update the specific filters for a given saved search.   For example, I have a saved search for a specific tracker called “Good Question” and then that filter is also set for specific groups of people.   If I want to add or remove a person and save the filter, how would I do so?   It seems to me the only way I can do that is to delete it and rebuild it from scratch which can’t be right.   Any insight is appreciated. Did you send/receive an email, and it's not showing under "activity" on the deals page?  Does your Gong Primary email address match the email address in your CRM? Is the external individual sending/receiving the email a contact for that opportunity in your CRM?   If both of these appear correct, email us at help@gong.io! Please provide the message ID(s) for the missing email(s) and a screenshot of the "Original Message"? Instructions are below on how to get these two items.

Hello - I have a number of columns that I have added to my deal boards for things like trackers and various Salesforce fields.   This morning when I logged in I don’t see them on the deal board anymore.   I can see them when I go to edit the respective board but I don’t see them when I view the board as a user.   Any help or insights are appreciated.   I have added a few screenshots to show the end user view and my view of the deal board.  Thanks, Joe 

After a recent migration from Chorus, I have a large swath of calls that are not associated with an account.  Any tips for going about this association process?  Reports to get organized?  Ways of easily doing large numbers of associations (vs clicking into each call and manually associating?) Thanks to you all!

You just enabled your Gong Consent Page, and now your Zoom Meetings require a passcode, but you don’t have one. No worries! Once the Consent Page is enabled, Gong automatically generates a passcode even if one isn’t originally required according to the user settings. This initiates a new protocol that causes the passcode to be required.As a workaround, simply enable the Zoom setting “Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join”. To do this, have your Zoom Admin follow the steps below:

Does anyone use Gong to connect with Salesforce person accounts.  I’m having issues connecting conversations to Person Accounts.  Anyone have experiences to share?

Hi there - I have 2 accounts (and each with their own opportunity), and am seeing an email communication with a contact at one account is showing up on the activity timeline for both accounts. I’ve checked salesforce to confirm that the contact is only related to a single account. Is there a way to manually unassociate this contact and activity from the incorrect account in Gong? thanks!

Hi there, I am new to Gong and loving it! Something I can’t figure out though - is there a way that as a Manager / administrator I can mark one of my team member’s recordings as “private” so that it does not get shared with the broader team?  It appears the only way to do this is if the team member is the one that marks it private. Is there not a setting or something that a Gong admin could do this? Or another alternative to be able to keep a recording in Gong to provide coaching and feedback to the individual, without sharing with the entire team?  Thanks!

If your Hubspot deals aren’t appearing in Gong, check two things:  Is the deal owner’s email address the same in Gong and Hubspot? Does the deal have a parent account associated with it in Hubspot? If you answered yes to both and the deals still aren’t appearing in Gong, grab a screenshot of a missing deal, then copy/paste the screenshot and the deal’s ID into an email, and send it to our Support team here. They’ll investigate furthe
