Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has been able to solve for this: we have Gong integrated with Salesforce and we want to report on how many calls our CSMs attend as participants and how many calls they host in the same report. Ideally, any call that the CSM would attend could also be counted towards their calls for the week. Currently, we’re using a task and events report type that uses the “Assigned to” field to report on the event record, but we are limited to just who hosted the call. We’ve played around with some of the out of the box Gong report types that are part of our unmanaged package, but we’re hitting a dead end. Totally open to some new ideas from the community!Thank you!
Hi,I am wondering if you are able to find a spot within Gong where I would be able to see what the ideal talk ratio is for my team. I want more in depth results than what is reported in the insight > interaction page. I would like to see each of my account executives, the talk ratio for each call, and whether or not it won or lost.Let me know if anyone else is looking for this data and if there is a solution.
How do I delete a field from the CRM Update when the field is not in the CRM Update settings?
I had a rep ask me if he can click on a recorded call and see who all has listened. Is this possible? Could someone instruct me how to view this? Thank you!
I am an enablement manager and a lot of my day to day includes coaching on Gong calls with Scorecards and leaving feedback.I see that under the Coaching Tab, I can view my own coaching, but I have to categorize by team. Is there a way I can group people together based on job title or with tags so that I can see everyone I have coached in one view?
A lot of revenue leaders struggle with forecasting but Gong is changing the game for the better. There’s no way to link the access token provided by OAuth to user or company data. How to know who gave the permissions?
I’m hoping someone can provide some insight on how Call Spotlight identifies discussion points for Next Steps. I’m preparing some best practices for my team, and I’d love to provide a way for them to ensure the correct items are captured. For example, should I encourage them to always say “As a Next Step...” or use the words “next step” or “action item” or similar?
My compliance team has been making lots of private comments on calls for Quality Assurance and compliance. They want to download these en masse. How do i do that? The API only allows public comments as far as i can see?
Hi, i’m wondering if there is a way to organize tracking, etc, for a group of users that doesn’t neatly fall under one reporting structure. For example, I want to be able to monitor all users that service our enterprise vertical, but currently those users report into 3 different teams (sales vs success, multiple managers). Is there a way to create a custom “team” in this sense?
If you're running a Trackers report in Salesforce but the Trackers aren't populating, double check your Trackers settings in Gong to see that they're exporting to the right place.Navigate to your company settings in Gong > Trackers > Edit a tracker > Select "CRM call objects" or any other relevant options:Interested in learning more? G’day from downunder, Gongers. One of our team here has asked about the Gong Recording feature in the iOS app - she’s missing the microphone icon that the rest of us have. She’s operating iOS 16, but on an iPhone 8. Does anybody know if you need a certain model of smartphone to enable this feature?
Hello everyone,You might know that “GONG” can automatically track keywords in our recorded conversation logs. However, I've found no easy way to filter conversations by project. Moreover, GONG doesn't have a manual tagging feature implemented. I would greatly appreciate your insights if you have solutions or ideas for this issue.Thank you.
We are having issues with duplicate contact roles being created and I’m wondering if anyone else in the community has successfully customized the flow(s) that add new contacts and contact roles from Participants on conversation records. We took the logic from Gong's help documentation and customized it a bit to suit our Salesforce instance. We have a few unique requirements:We want to add the Gong participants from each conversation to ALL related open opportunities for that account, not just the most recent one or the opp with the matched owner from the call. We want to add new/unknown Gong participants as new contacts, and then also add them as Contact Roles to those same open opportunities. The logic seems to work, except that the flow is creating duplicate Contact Roles for each Opportunity - same name, same contact, the only difference is the Contact Role ID. One of our engineers determined that the likely cause of the duplicates is likely due to batch syncing between Gong and Sal
I have upgraded from 2.26 to 2.28 this morning following this guide, Upgrade Gong for Salesforce – Gong Help Center. In Salesforce, the Gong installed package shows me that it has upgraded to 2.28 and I have added the two new fields to the Conversation object as prescribed. In Gong though, under the Salesforce integration information, I still see version 2.26 and it is still prompting me to upgrade to 2.28. I have logged out and logged back in multiple times now for the past 2 hours, but still seem the same. Is there something else I need to do within Gong?
Gong is creating multiple tasks for emails sent to multiple recipients, one task per recipient. This is inflating our activity metrics and I haven’t found a way to group unique emails together to solve for this. Does Gong offer a solution? Is it possible to create a single task and associate it with multiple contacts instead. I know this is possible from a Salesforce perspective. Or create a Unique Email ID for each unique email or a similar field I can group off of.
Our organization is looking to upgrade our Call Center and want to see if it’s possible to use Gong. Is anyone else using Gong with their customer service teams?
Hi everyone,I have two questions for you all:1. What are some important use cases of smart trackers and a few example sentences you guys are trying out?2. How are you setting up smart trackers for MEDDPICC?

Greetings,I would like to know if it's possible and if there is any kind of procedure about the update of the Salesforce User currently logged in Gong which is uses for the Data Synch. We would like to change it with another Salesforce User (we have a specific data integration user) and if this kind of change may bring a data error or missing between the user change.RegardsSergio

We're wondering if it's possible to set up an automated email to go out through Gong's email editor to a prospect once a demo call has been completed by a specific user. We'd like to know if this is possible through the Gong software directly or if that isn't possible, through the Salesloft integration and/or the SFDC integrationComments from our CSM were: At this time Gong does not send out auto-emails. I'm not aware of any other software that does this and is triggered immediately after a call in a certain stage. Here at Gong if we are ever sending out auto emails I believe we typically send through Gainsight however the trigger isn't based on a stage of an opportunity but just a customer list. If this isn’t possible through Gong, what strategies have you used to automate emails to prospects?
I want to add an audio-prompt when a caller joins my Zoom call to inform them they are being recording by Gong (we call it the Pryon Note Taker). When I click on the company settings, i dont see a recording content section per what the support materials outline. Anyone know what I may be doing incorrectly? Thanks, Anita
Would anyone else find it useful to be able to collaborate with your teams when building smart trackers? Often I find myself building these and wanting to get input from other team members. In the current state, they would need to have administrative access and then go into the tracker to do their own training. It would be great if the permission was more widely available and I could earmark examples for others to review to make sure I’m on the right track. Or if I could even export a set of the training snippets for others to review manually.
Hi all, I am trying to understand the # of days from when an opp was created to when it closed using the on the Deal Board. I can’t seem to figure out a way to do this -- I cannot add a column for days to close and can’t export the data from the Deal Board to do this manually. Any recommendations? For more context, I’m trying to understand at a rep level how the # of days to close a deal varies depending on the size of the account. Open to other suggestions to accomplish this. Thanks for reading and any advice
