I have had one of our Account Execs ask about the speaker breakdown on a call that has been shared externally. For some reason, the speaker breakdown isn’t there when sharing with external organisations. I have looked at settings etc to see if it is something on my end but can’t see anything. What am I missing?

When I am uploading my 38 second video, Gong is only showing 35 seconds of it. This may seem minor, but I had an intro and outro fade on my video that is now missing. How can I prevent this from happening? 

I am taking snippets from each of my salespeople and want to use it to create a video with the best snippets from each. Is there a way to do that in Gong? Thanks!

Is it possible to create a static link for a recording that can be shared externally?   My use case is a webinar that I’ve recorded that i share frequently.  Currently, I have to go to the recording and click the button to share externally for a unique URL.  That’s overkill for my use case and would love a static link.  Thoughts?

Is there a way to have Gong look for a phrase in emails instead of calls? When I type a phrase in the search bar it only shows me where that phrase has been said in sales calls but I want to search emails as well. 

Currently on a team that uses Fathom and is switching to Gong. The BEST feature fathom has, is it’s demo note summary. You click on sales (my role, but there are others), and it pulls together this summary. it is critical for my role and remembering everything important during the demo. As is, it is better than Gong’s summary/highlight area by a mile. Here’s an example down below of a Fathom note summary. (I redacted as much personal information as I deemed necessary, but they are not redacted when getting the summary). As you can see, this is clear, concise, has a flow to it. It’s a pretty amazing summary tool. I really need this to be in Gong better than the current. The highlights are short, and the summary has no set flow, and is written out way too long and not sectioned as well as Fathom. For the record, I really like Gong. Hi Everyone! I’m a Sales Enablement Manager working with our global BDR team including BDRs in EMEA and AMER. We are focused on cold calling and are trying to find creative ways to use Gong to support enablement. Due to privacy regulations in the various locations, we are unable to record the prospects side of the conversation. Curious to know, how is everyone using Gong for cold call coaching when the prospects side of the conversation is not being captured? I appreciate the insight in advance 🙂 

I love the feature that reads along with the transcript, but is there any way of darkening or changing the color of the shaded transcript that’s being spoken?   Sometimes my eyes have trouble seeing the highlighted area.  My eyes aren’t as good as they used to me.   This might just be a “me” problem.

I had a rep ask me if he can click on a recorded call and see who all has listened. Is this possible? Could someone instruct me how to view this? Thank you!

I’m hoping someone can provide some insight on how Call Spotlight identifies discussion points for Next Steps. I’m preparing some best practices for my team, and I’d love to provide a way for them to ensure the correct items are captured. For example, should I encourage them to always say “As a Next Step...” or use the words “next step” or “action item” or similar? 

G’day from downunder, Gongers.One of our team here has asked about the Gong Recording feature in the iOS app - she’s missing the microphone icon that the rest of us have.  She’s operating iOS 16, but on an iPhone 8.   Does anybody know if you need a certain model of smartphone to enable this feature? 

Hello everyone,You might know that “GONG” can automatically track keywords in our recorded conversation logs. However, I've found no easy way to filter conversations by project. Moreover, GONG doesn't have a manual tagging feature implemented. I would greatly appreciate your insights if you have solutions or ideas for this issue.Thank you.

I want to add an audio-prompt when a caller joins my Zoom call to inform them they are being recording by Gong (we call it the Pryon Note Taker). When I click on the company settings, i dont see a recording content section per what the support materials outline. Anyone know what I may be doing incorrectly? Thanks, Anita

Hello Gong community- I am trying to find out if it is possible to delete part of a recorded call.  A colleague had a recording go longer than it should have on the client’s end.  They tried snipping the call but it still shared the entire recorded call with the client.  Thank you in advance for any guidance!

I am a System Administrator for my company, and we are trying to upload calls for two given users from another system to Gong. I noticed I do not have the correct permission set to do so, as the option is greyed out. Does this require a professional seat to do?

Once you have create a search in the conversation page is there a way to count the number of pins are associated with each conversation or participant and report out on that. So for example if we have a tracker about askingn questions in a conversation I would ike to know how many times the host asked questions.

Has anyone using Streams encountered a situation where you have had to notify and get consent from involved parties for the calls to be livestreamed into a folder? Also, is it accurate to say that once we turn on the Stream feature then anyone within the organization could then be able to set up Streams and will have the potential to include calls outside of the parameters we set?

Is it possible to export comments from a call that have specific hashtags? Even better, is it possible to set up some type of automation to export those comments? For example, as I review a call I might makes comments that start with a hashtag with a name like #currentstate or #usecase. After I finish reviewing the call, I’d like to export those comments out to a file or into another system.

Hi there, I am new to Gong and loving it! Something I can’t figure out though - is there a way that as a Manager / administrator I can mark one of my team member’s recordings as “private” so that it does not get shared with the broader team?  It appears the only way to do this is if the team member is the one that marks it private. Is there not a setting or something that a Gong admin could do this? Or another alternative to be able to keep a recording in Gong to provide coaching and feedback to the individual, without sharing with the entire team?  Thanks!

Anyone know how I can filter for all calls within my company that I’ve listened to? Can’t seem to find it 😅
